Newtonmore is an ideal location to be based whether you are coming for sightseeing, activities or a relaxing family holiday. With excellent public transport links and plenty to do in the village you can easily leave the car at home. In the village itself we have the Wildcat Trail, Highland Folk Museum, horse-riding, golfing, fishing, wildlife watching and great hillwalking as well as some lovely low level walks. There are 3 cafes and 3 pubs as well as a small variety of shops, and a small swimming pool. There are also several craftspeople who offer bespoke courses in crafts like jewellery making and textiles.
