The Passage House makes the ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Devon countryside and a whole wealth of visits and attractions. Gardens, historic sights, natural unspoilt coastlines and the wild wilderness of Dartmoor with its rugged landscape and intriguing folklore are just a few examples.

The Passage House Club is just 15 minutes away from the local seaside town of Teignmouth.

There are many other beaches in the area.

Newton Abbot

Devon is home to a plethora of historic properties, mostly under the care of English Heritage or the National Trust and some which are still privately maintained and open to the public. Almost all are set in extensive landscaped grounds with gentle, scenic walks. A well maintained coastal path allows access to long stretches of the coastline and there is a series of guided walks during the summer months, suitable for beginners and the serious ambler. The English Riviera is only 30 minutes drive. The beautiful historic towns of Totnes and Dartmouth are approximately 30 - 40 minutes away. Families can enjoy lots of attractions which are in close proximity such as Paignton Zoo, Pennywell Farm for young children and Crealy and Woodlands theme parks. Kingsteignton has some national stores such as Next, Matalan and Boots to name just a few. There is also Tesco supermarket and Lidl. Newton Abbot has Asda and Sainsburys stores.

The Eden Project

Described as a global garden for the 21st Century, the world renowned Eden Project is the perfect example of a sustainable future. Built on an epic scale and demonstrating mankind's dependence on plants, it is already one of the most popular international visitor destinations.
