About the home

This detached property offers, upstairs 1 large king size bedroom, 1 large family room with a double bed and single bed, A smaller bedroom with adult size bunks and bathroom. Ground floor one double bedroom, shower room with toilet, open plan lounge/diner, dining room table seats 10, with patio doors to sunny conservatory, good sized kitchen and utility room. Enclosed garden. Sleeps 9/10 with 10th person using a fold up bed which can be placed in any room required. No smoking in the house only.

Our closest beach, “Porth” is only 15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village itself hosts a traditional village public house, church, grocery stores and country walks.

Fern Cottage will cater for families or large groups, and is the perfect property for two families to share. Pets are welcome by arrangement. Just a five minute drive and you will enjoy the vibrant night life of Newquay.

Relax on one of the fantastic beaches, where you can learn to surf, try shark fishing, take a hair raising ride on a jet boats – or just relax on the family beaches patrolled throughout the summer by RNLI lifegaurds.

Situated in the village of St Columb Minor with views of the open country side from the upstairs.

Only 10 minutes away from the popular resort of Newquay with its famous beaches and golden sands. A regular bus service runs through St Columb Minor.

Our closest beach, "Porth" is only 15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village itself has a Public House, which is a 3 minute walk from Fernwood, church, grocery stores and country walks from the doorstep.

St Columb is ideally situated for touring Cornwall with many tourist attractions including the famous Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan, Mevagissey, St Ives, The Old Port of Charlestown, all of which are within 30 minutes to 1 hour drive from Fernwood.

Fernwood, built by the owner, has a well-equipped modern kitchen with dining area, which will comfortably seats 9 people. The garden to the rear is fully enclosed with a patio and chairs a wonderful place to spend a warm evening. A 10th person can be accommodated in a fold up bed which can be placed in any room required
