All the bedrooms can be arranged as twins or super king doubles. The quaint village of Crantock is only a five minute walk from the beach and South West Coastal Path and so, the farmhouse provides the perfect base for a family holiday or, is ideal for couples want to stay in luxury in this beautiful part of Cornwall. Most tourist attractions are only 40 minutes away by car, but you can retreat to a haven of peace and luxury where you can enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.

Renovated in 2008 to a very high standard (currently holds a Visit Britain 5* rating), Great Weston Farmhouse combines comfort, character and all modern conveniences. There is more than enough space for everyone, with additional TV's in the sitting area of the Master Bedroom, the sitting room and the kitchen. There is a cupboard full of games along with a selection of books and DVDs. There are even cookery books in the kitchen along with plenty of equipment to start creating a feast.

There are two gardens for exclusive use to Great Weston Farmhouse guests. The front garden has a large table and eight chairs, alongside the barbecue. This garden is south facing and makes the best of the West Country sunshine. Watch the village go by from the comfort of a garden chair. To the rear, the garden opens up off the breakfast room and is planted with shrubs, providing a peaceful, pretty place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. There is an area here for the storage of holiday paraphernalia! There is parking for 2 cars. There are two other, smaller cottages on the site as well.

The Newquay / Crantock area
Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.
It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.
Crantock is the site of an altogether much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. It is suggested that Crantock was founded by St.Carantacus in the 5th century, who was the son of a Welsh chieftain, and established his church. The present church is reputed to be built upon the same site.
