Home description
Porth Beach House as it's name suggests is practically on the door step of Porth's Blue Flag beach.
Easy access makes it no hassle getting up for the day as you can be on this great family beach with it's rock pools and vast expanse of golden sands within 2 minutes of leaving the front door.
If you enjoy walking you can take advantage of the fantastic cliff top walks or beach walk at low tide (check tide tables) to Watergate Bay (2 ¼ miles) where you can take part in a number of extreme sports or alternatively dine at Jamie Oliver’s 15 restaurant (booking advised) or the Beach Bar below.
If you prefer to stay local there is a great local family pub called The Mermaid which serves good value food and drink, and over the road a good quality but reasonably priced restaurant.
Newquay town centre is only 2 miles and can be reach via part of the South West Coast Path and has a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The West Country / Cornwall region
In Newquay there is something for everyone, no age limits here, so whether you are the more adventures type who enjoys extreme sports, taking it easy, walking or just being able to chill out, its all here practically on your doorstep and you’ll be spoilt for choice with golf, tennis, pitch and putt, fishing, riding, deep see diving and so much more.
Over the last few years Cornwall has renewed visitor interest in her incredible and highly unusual fauna with attractions like the Eden Project being just one amongst our great gardens of interest. Wonderfully rugged coastline, ancient stone circles and tin mines will take you back centuries to the mystical, magical and underground smuggling.
It isn’t hard to see why Cornwall is forging its way to being one of the most internationally renowned places to holiday or take a short break especially when it comes to great food. Names such as Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver now tied to the county, Newquay and the surrounding areas Cornwall boasts an eclectic selection of must-try pubs and restaurants, cafes and tea houses, any of which our staff will be happy to recommend to suit your taste buds.
Cornwall is a truly inspired county and a place to be experienced, so don't miss out come and discover some thing new.
Newquay / Porth area
Porth beach is approximately 2 miles out of Newquay town centre, which makes it easy to access all the amenities and attractions in the town either by foot, bus or car.
Porth beach is great for families as it allows no surfing during the main season, but don't let this put you off if you do surf as Whipsiderry (good surf spot) is just a walk way up the hill and then further on is Watergate Bay with its extreme sports, including kit surfing. Waterage Bay has become famous for being the Cornish home to Jamie Oliver's inspired 'Fifteen' restaurant, try to book in advance if you can.
Approximately 15 miles from Padstow with its quaint fishing harbour and 'Rick Stein's' seafood restaurant where booking is a must especially during peak season.
