Seagull view apartment is fabulously located on the cliff top, enjoying breathtaking panoramic coastline, beach and harbour views. The town with its many shops, bars and restaurants is situated just 2 minutes easy walking away.

So why not enjoy the opportunity to just park up in the apartments off street bay, relax and enjoy easy access to all Newquay has to offer.

We have set the apartment up to a very high standard to offer our holiday home to families and discerning couples the comfort and luxury we expect and enjoy during our stays here. It has only just been made available for holidays (late summer 2014) so be amongst the first to take advantage of the new decor, furniture and beds.

The apartment has contemporary, spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living areas, three comfortable bedrooms, one with en-suite and balcony, there is a family bathroom with separate shower.


The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with Neff and Gorenje appliances including 5 burner gas hob, extractor, energy efficient circotherm fan oven, plate warming tray, dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, freezer, combination oven microwave, kettle and, toaster. The kitchen base/wall units are efficiently laid out with granite work surfaces incorporating a 1.5 bowl sink and drainer.

Cupboards contain ample crockery, glasses and utensils.


Central to the lounge is a feature chimney breast with glass fronted living flame fire, above is an inset 46" Smart TV. There are two comfortable reclining settees placed for convivial evenings and watching the TV. Attractive bay windows overlook the sea and beach with two reclining swivel chairs positioned for reading, relaxation or just to take advantage of the glorious vista to watch the beach fun, storm watch or to see the harbour boats coming and going (or maybe even just a snooze?). Quality solid oak Willis and Gambier sideboard and oak side tables are conveniently positioned.


Positioned between the kitchen and lounge a dining area has been set up with a large Willis and Gambier oak and glass table that comfortably seats six people. The table is extendable to provide seating for eight. The table seating is elegant with comfortable high back chairs.

Master Bedroom

Directly off the lounge and leading to the balcony is the master bedroom. A king sized bed is centrally positioned so you can literally sit up in bed and watch the surf, opening the double balcony doors allows you to hear the wonderful and atmospheric sounds of the breaking waves for a truly delightful start to the day.

The bed is very comfy having a sprung slatted base with a luxury 12" deep pocket sprung mattress incorporating airflow features for night time comfort, appropriate seasonal weight duvets are used.

Contemporary mirror/glass sliderobe doors provide access to wardrobe hanging and storage. Other storage is provided with a tall set of drawers topped with swing up top make up mirror, bedside wall mounted cubes are positioned either side of the bed each with a bedside light. An en-suite shower, washbasin and wc lead off from the room.

Bedroom Two

This peaceful room is fitted with a double bed with sprung slatted base and luxury 12" deep pocket sprung mattress, incorporating airflow features for night time comfort, appropriate seasonal weight duvets are used. Either side of the bed are wall mounted cubes with bedside lights. Bedroom furniture consists of combi robe units incorporating drawers and hanging with a vanity dressing table, mirror and stool from the Pembroke Welcome Furniture range.

Bedroom Three

This comfy room has double bed with a single bed over and despite this non conventional set up comfort has not compromised and having done extensive research this bed is full UK size and has good quality pocket sprung mattresses. Duvets used are appropriate to the season. A travel cot could easily be fitted in this room if required. Under bed drawers, and double a wardrobe/draw combi unit provide for storage.


On the stylishly designed private balcony there are four chairs and a table to enjoy outdoor dining, a cream tea or maybe a fine wine, while taking in the stunning views. Laze around in the afternoon and early evening sunshine and after sunset use the subdued balcony lighting to prolong the magic late into the night.

Family Bathroom

Within the bathroom there is a quadrant shower cubical, wash basin and WC. Also there is a Carronite double ended bath with central taps. The Carronite bath has special heat retaining properties and comfort design. Above the bath there is a rail suitable for hanging out wetsuits to drip dry.

Central heating, free WiFi, allocated off road parking, shared courtyard.

Linen and towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, clothes dryer supplied.

A high chair and Obaby basinette travel cot are available if required.

We are proud to say our apartment achieved 86 SAP which puts it firmly towards the top of the energy efficiency ratings, helped by a super efficient boiler, efficient circotherm oven, UPVC windows, acoustic and thermal insulation and low energy lighting.

Special Conditions

Smoking is only permitted outside in the shared courtyard area and nowhere else on the premises.

We only let the apartment to families and couples, it is not set up or designed for over exuberant activities or party use.

Sorry no pets are allowed.

We are prepared to accept shorter than a week bookings by agreement with flexible start days as required, a minimum charge of £450 is applied to short bookings.

A deposit of 30% of the quoted price is required to secure a booking with the remaining balance paid for by six weeks prior to arrival. For bookings taken with less than six weeks, payment must be made in full by cheque or bank transfer, sorry we don't take credit card payment.

No additional charges are made for cot, high chair etc.

Superlatives abound, Cornwall has them all from rugged dramatic coastal and inland scenery to large towns and quaint fishing villages, from industrial heritage to cottage craft enterprises and being based in Newquay you are well placed to reach them all within a day's trip.



Seagull view apartment is situated in a quieter but central part of the top family holiday resort town of Newquay, it is just far enough away from the more lively entertainment areas but close enough for an easy walk.

The town, of course has many shops, family friendly restaurants and bars, it has a World renown zoo, a boating lake and Blue Reef Aquarium amongst the many other attractions. Not to mention the eight sandy beaches, each with a distinct character and a harbour.

Learn to surf, hire a surf board or kayak, go coasteering, explore the rock pools or go on a fishing trip, all and much, much more is possible within a few minutes of the apartment.

"Fantastic holiday letting"

The apartment was immaculately presented, immaculately clean with fantastic views from the sitting room and master bedroom. The location is fab too as it's central so very close to beaches, pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be back as its just so lovely a real home from home.
