Fistral-View is a top floor luxury self-catering holiday apartment situated in Pentire, Newquay. Located at the south end of Fistral Beach the apartment offers spectacular views over Fistral Beach from the lounge and private balcony.

Our only 'neighbours' are below us, we have no apartments on either side so you can relax in the afternoon sun on your private balcony and enjoy the sounds of the sea.

The apartments facilities include 1 double bedroom with en-suite, twin bedroom, family bathroom and a large lounge / diner and kitchen area. The lounge has a reading seat with a picture window with views over Fistral Bay.

The apartment will sleep 4 in comfort and if you have young children you are welcome to bring travel cots (room for 1 in each bedroom).

Fistral Beach can be accessed via a cliff path 150m from the apartment. For those wishing to surf or bodyboard there is a rental shop on the way to the beach. Crantock Beach is also easily accessible in season via a short walk to the other side of Pentire Headland. From here the beach can be accessed on foot at low-tide or via the very regular Crantock ferry service (nominal cost).

Newquay also offers a golf course overlooking the sea and horse-riding along the Gannel estuary.

"A Modern Well Appointed Apartment"

Our stay at Fistral View was in July 2013 for 2 weeks. The arrival details sent were clear and informative so we found the apartment with ease. We did have a problem establishing which key box had the key to the apartment as they are not marked.
Although the apartment is located on the top of the 2nd floor there is a lift which is helpful for cases etc. Inside it was lovely, modern and very comfortable and some cleaning products were left for guests including dish washer tablets, bin bags, dish clothes etc. Since we were staying for 2 weeks the bedding and towels were changed by the house keeper after the first week.
The view from the lounge is of Fistral Beach or be it over the roofs of other houses but this does not distract, the evening sun sets over the balcony, ideal for evening drinks. It is a very quite location with no noise from Newquay town, you do get some noise, however, from the seagulls but that to be expected.
The beach is only a short walk away and it's a 10-15 min walk into town where there is a Sainsbury's for your odd bit of shopping. This also has a free 90 min car park as well.
The welcome book gives details of places to visit and where to eat, we tried most of the ones listed and found them satisfactory. The apartment has free wifi so it's worth taking your tablet so you can look up menus before going or finding the post code for your satnav.
A very enjoyable holiday was had by all.

"excellent apartment"

fanastic location - just a 2 minute walk to fistral beach and 10 minutes to Newquay town centre. Wonderful views across Fistral Beach. the apartment is well equiped, with everything you could need. We could not fault it. Excellent holiday!
