This well equipped holiday home stands in maintained gardens and looks down on a picture post card lake which can be fished. The Garden room gives you space to relax and take in the surrounding views. The barn makes for a memorable holiday. Throw open the doors onto patio which wraps itself around the barn to enjoy the views or light the wood burning stove on a chilly evening and relax in front of the fire.
The barn is in a central position with the A30 only 2 miles away. It is a short drive to many of Cornwall's attractions such as the Eden project, Fiscal beach in Newquay, Watergate Bay and the city of Truro. Crantock being a firm favorite with many of the guests. Cornwall also has some of the most amazing gardens to visit.

The Kitchen is handmade with granite worktops and has a central island with an Aga as well as a electric cooker, slate floors and is open plan which is ideal for large groups. The Garden room has great surrounding views with full length windows, wood burner and oak floors with underfloor heating, Large TV, DVD,IPod dock, WI-FI. The dinning table and Chairs are set in the Garden room and seat 12.
The bedrooms are light and have been decorated in classic colours. All equipped with hairdryers and mirrors.
The Bed linen is of high quality. A double room is on the ground floor and this is suitable for a family with a daybed and room for a cot.

The large gardens surround the barn and are mature featuring a lake on the lower side (fishing Available), A barbecue is available to use on the extensive patio area which is wrapped around the garden room from which you can open double doors onto this area making it an ideal location for evening meals.Many sunsets have been enjoyed from here. The lake is mainly used for fly fishing and tuition can be arranged with notice for your stay. There are many fishing ponds locally for those who are keen fishermen. We can also arrange sea angling for up to 10 people, Full days and half day trips. An Ampy-theater is planned for 2013 with a fire pit in the grounds. There ere many footpaths here at Hendra for walkers.

The West Country region
Cornwall boost it's own flag and has a typical Atlantic coast, having a rough and rugged beauty with vast sandy beaches and beautiful stunning scenery. It has high rolling wave coming in off the Atlantic which attracts a great number of surfers.
There are remains of the old tin mines dating back 300 years. It is still famous for it's traditional Cornish pasties and should not be missed. Fishing villages dot the coast with narrow alleyways great for browsing the local shops and art galleries. The city of Truro is a gem and offers a great day out with its cobbled streets and small shops.
We are located near the A30 which makes for the perfect location with easy access of all the attractions here.
Newquay beaches 6 Miles, Perranporth beaches 6 Mile Crantock beach 6 Miles. Mitchell 2 miles away with a great Pub "The plume of feathers" which offers fine dining. The Village store of Trispen can be reached within 3 miles.
Supermarkets at Newquay and Truro are nearby.
The Eden project is 10 mile away and is a perfect day out. Padstow is a must while you are here with it's historic harbour and shops.
