The Beach House is a one bedroom studio style cottage which sleeps two, on two floors. It is presented in a contemporary style, with a very comfortable high quality finish.
The Beach House has an enclosed private patio with an outside shower, making it ideal for dog owners or surfers who need to rinse off their surf boards and wet suits. Due to it's central village location, you are never more than a five minute walk away from two pubs, the church of St Crantoc, the Londis/Post Office store and other village attractions. As well as this, Crantock's legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage perfect couples and surfers alike.
Open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area. Sitting room with oak flooring & rug, sofa, TV, DVD player, MP3/CD player. Dining table seating 3. Storage space for shoes/coats. Dog gate for stairs.
Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, with electric oven and hob and fridge.
Kingsize 5' (150cm) bed. Bedside tables, built in shelving & hanging, arm chair, full length mirror. The bedroom is in the eaves so there may be a height restriction, but if you are 6' or under, there should not be a problem. TV in the bedroom.
Built in shower cubicle, sink, WC, heated towel rail, fully tiled.
Iron and Ironing Board available upon request from the Property Manager.
Hair dryer available upon request from the Property Manager.

Patio adjacent to The Beach House with table for 2, outside shower, fully enclosed & fenced in.
Access by a gate from the drive.
Not suitable for children over six months of age.
There is a space for disposable barbeques to be used.
Included in the rental price is bed linen, hand towel and shower mat. Additionally, each guest is provided with a bath and hand towel. Guests must provide their own beach towels.

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.
It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

"outstanding property and spotless !!!"
WE always love to stay in crantock or very close by and this property did not let us down . we would like to say a very BIG thankyou to Godfrey and his wife as they made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble , WE stayed when we had a very poorly Labrador who had to have an emergency op while we were on holiday and since arriving home we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go to sleep !! However while we were staying in the beach house because the owners had dogs them selves we felt at ease . A massive THANKYOU and will see you both soon xxx

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We are really sorry that you found your cottage lacking and can only apologise. We and our owners work very hard to provide excellent accommodation and excellent service to our guests.
I would, however, like to respond to, and expand on some of the comments you have made.
Lack of an iron in the cottage:
There is not a logical place within The Beach House to store an ironing board and iron. As you say, you met the owners/Property Managers (whom, as you say, are very nice people), and we do state in the Property Manual that if you find anything lacking, you only have to ask either the Property Manager or put a call into our office and we will help. Both an iron and an ironing board are available on request.
I am not aware and there is no record, that you asked either the Property Manager or our office for either during your stay.
It is very clearly indicated on our website and in the Terms of Business (accepted by you at the time of booking), the conditions under which dogs are accepted. These conditions are to facilitate good visitor etiquette from our visiting dogs and their owners, but also to protect the owner's property. We all know that dogs can become very distressed if left in a property that they are not familiar with. If you wanted to leave the door open, a stair gate can be provided, again you only have to ask. The same conditions apply in all of our properties where dogs are welcome.
As you say, The Beach House is in a beautiful village in a stunning part of North Cornwall, in a village that is very sought after and consequently, property is highly valued. We hope that you will stay with us again in Crantock and we look forward to welcoming you.
