We loved the upside down style of this cottage and they provided everything you could possibly need for your stay.Location was fantastic as only s short drive from the A30 which gets you around Cornwall quickly. My only negative was that there had clearly been a problem with damp in the sleeping/downstairs part of the accommodation as there was a damp and musty smell which they had tried to disguise with the use of air fresheners. The drawers in the second bedroom smelt very strongly and I was hesitant in putting the childrens clothes in their as it lingered on them. Loved the outbuilding and the loan of the equipment etc for the beach which saved us buying these when we travelled to the seaside. Response: Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed the Hayloft. The drawers have been replaced. |

I stayed in the Hayloft with my husband and 3 children ( 16,15 and 11) . It was in a beautiful setting with lovely views and within a 15 minute drive of great beaches. The property provided everything you needed. The outdoor space was a bonus, with games for the kids to use, even a kite to fly when 60 mile an hour winds hit Cornwall. The property is more suitable for 4 guests but our son was happy on the put you up in the lounge for the week. |

Stayed at the Hayloft for 1 week, lovely peaceful place, home from home. Lovely location - 5 mins from Newquay and all the beaches. Would defo stay there again. The only thing that was missing was an ironing board but I am sure if I asked the owners they would have helped me as they were so nice. :O) Response: Sorry you didn't find the ironing board ...it's behind the door curtain upstairs in the living area. |
