Our spacious luxury 3 bedroom penthouse is set out over 2 floors, with an open plan living space on the top floor.

The upper floor contains a 26ft open plan living space accommodating a lounge, dining area and fully integrated kitchen. Three large top hung velux windows capture the views and maximise the light. The kitchen overlooks the first floor terrace and garden. Away from the lounge area is a utility room with a washing maching, dryer and another WC.
The Lounge boasts real oak floors, a contemporary corner sofa with chaise end, Widescreen freeview TV and Radio and a DVD/CD player with surround sound. There is also a dining area with space for 6 people and dimmable lighting.
We can also provide a cot, high-chair and safety gate at no extra cost.

The double room and twin rooms look onto a south-facing first floor terrace. This is a great space for having your breakfast or alfresco dining in the evening. Wooden patio furntiture with four comfortable chairs are provided. Guests also have the use of a communal decked area and of course the superb cliff-top hotel grounds.

Refundable breakages deposit of £100.00 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
40% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to modify the Penthouse Apartment so that it is suitable for wheelchair users.

The Newquay / Central Newquay area
Newquay is a great base to explore Cornwall
Situated on the rugged coastline of North Cornwall, Newquay boasts some of the finest views in our country of the mighty Atlantic Ocean.
The perfect natural conditions produce an ideal surfing coast, which has tempted surfers from all over the world to visit Newquay and try out the waves. As such, it is now widely regarded as the surf capital of the UK and hosts the National Surfing Championships every year on Fistral Beach. It's not just surfing here, Newquay offers many other extreme activities which are becoming hugely popular, such as kite-surfing/boarding, para-gliding, kayaking and coasteering. Enough for any adrenalin junkie.
If extreme activity is not your cup of tea then Newquay is a great base to explore Cornwall. There are plenty of historical places of interest, beautiful coastal paths to explore and opportunities to take in the relaxing Cornish atmosphere.
With all the outdoor activity to keep your kids occupied, you will have time to relax on one of Newquay's 10 fabulous beaches. If the weather stops play, then there are plenty of local attractions to keep them amused such as the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay zoo or the Eden Project.
Newquay has a great nightlife, with a great selection of pubs, bars and recently opened top restaurants catering for all tastes.

Newquay is easily reached by road, rail or air and The Penthouse Apartment is very well located in the centre of town.
By Road
Guests at the Penthouse have free parking for one vehicle at the property so it's easy to bring a car.
If you’re driving, join the A30 via either the M5 (from the West) or the M3 (from London). The roads can get busy in the summer so you be sure to leave enough time for your journey.
By Rail
Newquay rail station is only a few hundred yards away from The Penthouse.
It takes 4hrs 45mins (with 1 change) from London, 6hrs (with 1 change) from Birmingham, 8hrs (with at least 1 change) from Manchester, and 10hrs (with at least 1 change) from Glasgow!
By Air
If you decide to fly, the closest airport is Newquay Cornwall airport which is only a 10 min drive from Newquay. Alternatively, you can fly to Plymouth City airport.

Wot a lovely place, everything u need and the hotel on hand if theres any problems. Loved its position, central but away from any noise from pubs etc. Wud definitely go again. |

Terms & Conditions
Deposit - A 40% deposit is to be paid at the time of booking with the balance (remaining 60%) due six weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
Payment can be made via cheque or paypal
In the case of late bookings the balance is to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Booking is normally Saturday 3pm – Saturday 10am
Short or mid-week breaks may be arranged in low season
Booking should normally be through completing the booking form on the website or by contacting the owners
Bookings are only accepted from those aged 18 or over
The apartment must be paid for in full before access is granted
Additional guests - The agreement applies only to the guests as listed in the
completed booking form, and any changes should be discussed with the owner. Overnight guests are not permitted without prior arrangement with the owner.
Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
Damages/breakages - A £100 refundable deposit is charged against breakages
etc payable by cheque on arrival. Your cheque will be destroyed after the apartment has been inspected and cleaned.
The accommodation should be left in a clean state and in good order. The occupier should report all
damages or breakages & will be charged for repairs.
Liability - The proprietors shall not be liable to any persons for personal injury or loss or damage to property, however caused or sustained.
Noise/Disturbances - Occupiers are asked to observe and respect other neighbours at all times with regard to noise and behaviour.
Cancellations - We will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful, the remaining balance will not be due, if unsuccessful the refunds are made as follows:
Cancellation more than 6 weeks from holiday start date - 60% total value of the booking will be refunded
Cancellation more than 5 weeks from holiday start date - 10% total value of the booking will be refunded
Cancellation Less than 2 weeks from holiday start date – SORRY, NO REFUND
Unfortunately, ALL deposits are non-refundable.
Accommodation becomes unavailable - If through illness/fire or other event of the property/owners the accommodation becomes unavailable after confirmation of booking, a FULL refund will be provided.
Non Arrival - Failure to take up occupancy by 6 pm on due date without prior arrangement will be deemed a cancellation and all monies paid forfeited. In the event of an unforeseen delay you must notify us before 6 pm.
We only accept families and couples. Single sex groups are only allowed at the discretion of the owner.
