There are many exquisite historic buildings to visit in the region, such as Lanhydock House in Bodmin, with its beautiful gardens, and Prideaux Place in Padstow, a celebrated Elizabethan manor house.
Packed full of art shops and restaurants, St Ives is a great day out any time of year.
