'The Bungalow' is a lovely and higher standard 1990's modern detached bungalow situated in the picturesque hamlet of Talskiddy, under 2 miles from St Columb Major village, 3 miles from the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth and 8 miles from Newquay, North Cornwall. A quiet rural setting, adjacent to a few old character cottages on what was originally Talskiddy Farm. Just a stroll over to the village 'Duck Pond' and a further pleasant walk down to a little ford over the tiny stream on the edge of the village. St Columb Major has pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a beautiful enclosed front garden (garden furniture) with lawn, trees, shrubs and flowers-really pretty in the summer. Also a 1 acre enclosed rear garden. In addition there is an enclosed front patio with table and chairs. Crackington Haven sandy beach is 5 miles. Parking in driveway for 2 cars and other parking. 1 dog welcome.

Visit famous Fiscal surfing beach in Newquay and visit Watergate Bay beach (home to Jamie Oilivers restaurant). Padstow is a favourite and picturesque working fishing village with numerous unique and interesting shops, eating places, pubs and Lobster Hatchery(small entrance fee). Padstow is home to Rick Steins restaurant and also his Fish & Chip shop. Talskiddy is a tiny and quiet rural village with a small 'Duck Pond' and there is a pleasant walk down to a little ford over the tiny stream on the edge of the village.
