This lovely semi-detached stone cottage is situated in the yard of a former farm, four and a half miles from Newquay. Set in luscious green countryside, the cottage offers a peaceful retreat for those who want to enjoy the tranquil side of a holiday in Cornwall. One king sized double bedroom and one single with additional sofa bed allows the cottage to sleep four people. There is also plenty of outdoor space with a small patio area – complete with garden table and chairs – as well as access to a larger garden and a few of the owner’s fields – ideal for an evening stroll.

Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach.
Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
The Newquay, Cornwall / Crantock area
Close to the popular resort of Newquay, Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast. Still within easy distance of all Cornwall has to offer, this lovely little town also provides a peaceful setting for a relaxing few weeks away. With stunning countryside surrounding the property and lots of wonderful, pretty villages to explore, this region is a superb place to enjoy an incredibly diverse vacation. The stunning coast line offers a wide variety of activities, cliff-walks, dramatic beaches and excellent surfing. Golfers are also well catered for with a number of excellent courses in the area and the National Trust owns a number of properties within easy driving distance. Newquay offers a wide variety of pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

Lovely quiet location, friendly owner, plenty to see and do, the animals on the farm were a hit with everyone.

,Good setting and views, ideal base for walking. Farm animals were a delight, also the arrival pack from our hostess was lovely - farm fresh eggs, homemade bread and muffins, milk, butter and jams.

,We received a warm and friendly welcome from the owner on our arrival. The welcome basket had lovely fresh bread, muffins, tea and coffee which were most welcome after our long journey. As animal lovers we loved the friendly welcome from the dogs and enjoyed feeding the hens, ducks, Nutmeg the goat and the delightful little Kune Kune piglets. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall with the Eden Project only 30 minutes away. We had a truly memorable holiday and would highly recommend a visit.

,The accommodation was excellent in every respect. The cottage was beautifully furnished and had a friendly feel to it. The welcome basket was excellent - homemade bread, muffins, butter, marmalade, milk, tea and coffee. What more could you want?! The animals are all very friendly and helped to make it a very enjoyable holiday.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
