Verano Cottage is over 200 years old but has all mod cons as well as a traditional lounge with a fireplace, lovely, sunny conservatory, garden & spacious bedrooms.
Blue Anchor is right in the centre of Cornwall with very easy access to all it has to offer. Newquay, Padstow, the Eden Project, Truro & St Ives are all just a short journey away. Plenty of glorious beaches, fine dining or family restaurants, a great base to explore from.

Verano Cottage has a lounge, kitchen, conservatory/dining room and spare bedroom/quiet lounge downstairs. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with separate shower.

Places of interest locally include: the world famous Eden Project; the not so famous but very beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan; also the now very famous fishing port of Padstow, thanks to a certain celebrity chef; the surfing beaches at Newquay; the seaside towns of St Ives and Falmouth; the amazing open air Minnack theatre; magical Tintagel; St Michael's Mount.
The Newquay, Cornwall / Fraddon area
There are many places to eat out very close by. These include the 17th century Blue Anchor Inn opposite the cottage, an award winning Fish and Chip shop, Chinese restaurant, Brewers Fayre, Viners fine dining restaurant and Jamie Oliver's 15 restaurant at Watergate Bay. Children are very well catered for with local attractions such as Newquay Zoo, Dairyland, Crealy Adventure Park and Lappa Valley miniature railway to name but a few.
Many surf and music festivals are held in the local area throughout the year. For those who enjoy walking and cycling, there are scenic cycle trails and coastal walks within easy access.

Blue Anchor has easy access by road, get on the A30 & come off on the Fraddon/Kingsley Village junction onto the B3275, the follow signs to Fraddon/Blue Anchor,the property is directly opposite the Blue Anchor Pub.
The nearest airport, Newquay, is only 15 mins away, pick ups are no problem for a small charge of £15, (pick up drop off). I have a 6 seater van so there's plenty of space.

Sorry, no refunds given on bookings cancelled with less than 6 wks notice.
Please strip beds on departure, & leave property as you find it.
Also please inform us of any breakages, so they can be sorted for next guests.
