The desirable Pentire Headland has fantastic vistas - with rugged coastline and seven miles of golden beaches.
Whether you enjoy walking, cycling, golfing, surfing or just relaxing on the beach - Newquay and it's surrounding areas have 8 beaches, all within walking distance.
With Rock, Padstow, Camelford and Port Issac all within 25 minute drive there are many restaurants and shops to enjoy.
Rick Stein's influence has brought the standard of local eateries to a highly competitive level, with his seafood school and restaurant and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen (located at Watergate bay 4 miles away), advance bookings are advised, although for off peak it maybe worthwhile trying to get a last minute booking.

A sunset stroll is highly recommended to the end of Pentire Headland. Lewinnick Lodge situated on the breathtaking coastline has fabulous views and great food.

Tintagel Castle-Legendary birth place of King Arthur with beautiful double waterfall and the lower pool is deep enough for an exhilarating plunge. It was here that King Arthur is said to have brought his knights to be baptised before their quest for the Holy Grail- Camelford.
The Eden Project - 15 miles from Newquay - spectacular and unique global garden.

How to get there
Ocean 1 is 6 minutes from Newquay Airport, (but not in the flight path!). Flights are available into Newquay Airport from the following airports: Gatwick / Leeds / Manchester with the following airlines: BMI Baby / Air South West / British Airways.
Rail links from London into Bodmin Parkway (There is a fast service- times vary). Bodmin Parkway is a 20-25 minute drive to Ocean 1,Pentire, with cab fares at £30.00 each way.
There is a summer rail service into Newquay from Bodmin Parkway. It is advisable to check times with this route.
From London journey times by car approximately 4.5-5 hours.

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.
NB: Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted in July and up to 31st August.
A deposit of 50% of the total price is required to secure the property. The balance is due eight weeks before arrival.
For bookings arriving within 8 weeks, payment must be made in full - currently by bank deposit or online. Prior to arrival, a security deposit is required and will be refunded on inspection by the management company on departure.
Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless stated.
A non-refundable £10 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.

Fabulous beach - so close to the apartment and great for the children, - they loved it! A great area with so much to do for all age groups of the family. Beautiful apartment- all fresh and clean with good children's facilities and the meet & greet company were lovely. We will do it all again next year-Thank you.
A great home from home, very relaxing, two minutes from the golf course with amazing coastal walks and great restaurants. Thank-you could we please have the same week next year.
“ It was a great break for us staying in this luxurious apartment in Pentire. Very good location surrounded by beautiful beaches with surfing facilities nearby.
Everything went smoothly from the last minute booking to departing with no problem. Well equipped and comfortable place with plenty of hot water, so our three teenagers had no worries. Thanks to all for the 5 star treatment and to Jon for his great tourist guidance on our arrival. Despite the Sun playing hide and seek most days, we all had a fantastic time.
