Trewince Barn is a lovely stone barn conversion, overlooking the picturesque Porth valley. situated in a peaceful rural setting yet within easy reach of the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall, Newquay Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth.

The barn is one of three located at the end of a quiet road and benefits from far reaching countryside views to the sea from the upstairs lounge, a real open fire, exposed beam ceilings, a patio and private rear garden; ideal for summer barbeques

This is a real home, featured on TV, with separate large lounge, well equipped kitchen diner and 3 bedrooms

Whilst the area is internationally famous for it’s surfing, there is plenty to meet everyone’s ideal holiday requirements. The beaches are some of the best you are likely to find in the UK and of course there is the spectacular South West Coast Path and surrounding countryside to enjoy. The Eden project is only a short drive From Trewince Barn and the Lost Gardens of Heligon, Trerice, Bocastle, andTintagel are among the many interesting places to visit. A complete variety of visitor attractions to suit all tastes are situated throughout the area or there are plenty of traditional fishing villages dotted along the scenic coastline to visit

Cornwall’s climate is warmed by the Gulf Stream, summers are often warm with plenty of sunshine and winters are mild, making it perfect for coastal walks, water sports or just relaxing on the beach.


Newquay, Cornwall / Porth area

Trewince Barn sits in a rural location overlooking a lovely valley with views towards the village of Porth.
Porth is a picturesque Cove with an extensive sandy beach between Newquay and Watergate Bay just 12 miles south of Padstow. The area is Perfect for families and adjacent to the spectacular coastline of the North Atlantic, which includes such, breathtaking natural features as nearby Bedruthen steps. This is an ideal central location from which to explore The County. North Cornwall’s main attractions are within easy reach with the A30 giving good access to some of the best parts of Cornwall. Alternatively for walkers the South West Coast path can be reached quickly by car. Along the coast road to the North is Watergate bay, internationally famous for its surfing beaches, spectacular coastline and Jamie Oliver’s famous "Fifteen" Restaurant. Newquay is 2 miles to the south with its attractions, restaurants and numerous beaches.

Our holiday at Trewince was excellent all the family enjoyed it. Our four year old daughter was in tears when she realised she had to leave. Real home from home and a good base to explore the rest of Cornwall. We hope to holiday again at Trewince in the not to distant future.
