This traditional stone-built cottage is an excellent holiday base for families or friends, a short walk from the sea and the attractive little town of Newport at the foot of the Preseli hills.
The two comfortably furnished reception rooms are well supplied with books, games, maps, TV, DVD player, radio/ CD player. One has a bed settee which converts into two narrow single beds.
Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms with exposed beams, one with a double bed, the other, two singles. The downstairs bathroom has an electric shower over the bath.
There is a well-equipped dining kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and automatic washing machine.
Full gas central heating and electric fire (fuel costs included in the rent) and fitted carpets throughout, ensure warmth and comfort at any time of the year.
A cot, high chair and stair gate are available. There is a telephone with honesty box.
The kitchen door leads into a small courtyard garden overlooking a field and the cottage’s lawned garden with fruit trees is just a short way down the road.
There is a lay-by for parking at the front of the cottage.

1 Parrog Road lies very close to the centre of the picturesque town of Newport and is also a short walk from the sea, estuary, Preseli hills and coastal path. There are many beautiful bathing beaches nearby. The area has endless opportunities for golf, sailing, swimming, walking, horse riding and fishing, with bike and kayak hire. Attractions in this lovely part of Pembrokeshire include spectacular coastal scenery, safe bathing beaches, rich wild life and ancient stones and forts. Newport has good public transport links including to the tiny city of St Davids, Cardigan and Fishguard (from where the Irish ferry sails).

Newport is a charming little town with lots of amenities. There are four pubs, three serving high quality home cooked food, first class restaurants and cafes and some excellent food shops, including a butcher and a wholefood delicatessen. A bank, pharmacy, well-stocked small supermarket, antique shop with second hand books and art galleries and gift shops make Newport a pleasant centre for browsing. There is also a church and three chapels.
