The downstairs accommodation comprises of a lounge/dining room with wooden floors and original beams throughout. There is an18th century ingle nook firplace complete with original bread oven.The downstairs bathroom has a shower cubicle with rail for elderly/infirm. The kitchen is fully fitted with all conveniences and opens out into a small courtyard.
Upstairs consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom all with sloping ceilings and orignal exposed beams.

There is a small south westerly facing courtyard, with patio table, four chairs and parasol. There is also a small shed with plenty of toys, games equipment and bucket and spades for the beach.

Newport is in the Pembrokeshire National Park. It is an area ideal for walking, bird watching and water activities. The RSPB islands of Skomer and Ramsay are well worth a visit. It is 20 miles to the cathedral city of St Davids and the county town of Haverfordwest.. There are many golf courses in the county of Pembrokeshire, combining links and parkland. Oakwood Theme Park is a 40 minute journey by car and there are other numerous activities available for children of all ages. The port of Fishguard is only 8 miles away and it is possible to take a day trip to Ireland. There is an information folder, brochures, leaflets and road maps in the cottage.
The Newport area
Newport is steeped in history and is an old port that was known for coal and lime. There is plenty of fishing, walking and sightseeing. The cottage is in the same street as St Marys Church. There is also a Norman castle in the town. Overlooking Newport is Carningli mountain (Mount of Angels). There is a choice of clean and safe beaches within walking distance from the cottage. Wind surfing is a popular sport as is canoeing and rowing. The golf course is 2 miles away. Nearby is the village of Nevern with the famous bleeding yew tree at St Brynachs Church and the circle of standing stones at Pentre Ifan. There are craft fairs held throughout the year and an annual regatta and boat race.
