Gwaun valley holiday cottage

Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4

Key Info
  • Great for children of all ages
  • Car essential
  • Pets welcome

Far, far away from the modern world this enchanting, romantic cottage is ideal for honeymooners or for lovers of solitude, peace and tranquillity. Set in a beautiful secret valley - steeply wooded hillsides, ancient bluebell woods and a tumbling river - this restored Pembrokeshire cottage is eco-friendly with the water heated by solar panels. It has 57 acres of ancient woodland, an SSSI, for you to discover and enjoy. Lots of the owner's paintings and drawings are displayed throughout the cottage and Henry VII's coat of arms, a 'lion and dragon rampant' - who reputedly stayed on this spot on his journey north to Bosworth Field in 1485!
