Major lodge is a listed 3 bed house which has been recently modernised. Two of the rooms have double beds while the third has a purpose made raised 3/4 bed (loved by children and some adults to) There is only one bathroom but it is spacious and has a separate shower cubical.The lounge will seat 6 per and there is a dinning table for the family as well.The kitchen has a large gas/elec range cooker, breakfast bar with french doors leading out on to the patio area. Another advantage this property has is off road parking two average sized cars. There is a local spar shop, health food shop a wonderful local butcher that sells local farm produce and on Mondays there is a street market that sells local produce. main superstores are 10 miles away. there is a good bus service and the bus stop is 200 yds away. 10 miles away in Fishguard there is a daily ferry that goes to Ireland and in the summer there is a fast ferry that only takes 1 1/2 hrs.30 mils away towards the south of the county Tenby there are two attractions Folly farm ideal for younger children especially and Oak wood them park some hair raising rides.Both these attractions take tesco vouchers as part payment but the vouchers have to be redeemed before going

Newport is a very popular seaside town .It has two beaches Parrog just 5 min walk from the house and traeth mawr a 2 mile drive or when the tide is out you can cross the river from the parrog.Newport has an historic castle and the town nestles under Carn ingli mountain (angel mountain

Waking is very popular as the Pembrokeshire coastal path is only 5 min walk from the house and there is a local bus (the Poppit rocket) which takes or picks you up on various points on the coastal path.Down on the estuary which the river Nevern flows into there is a variety of wild life birds to watch.

Newport

Newport links has an 18 hole golf club, 2 miles away which will challenge all handicaps and some of the views over the bay are stunning especially when the sun is going down.The golf club welcomes none golfers and the restaurant has a varied menu. Pony trekking is also very popular.You can launch a boat from the slipway down on the parrog and the local boat club is a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the sunset.There are various festivals during the year and well worth going on the net to see what takes your fancy.
