Y Bryn Cottage is located in a quiet location at the rear of Y Bryn Bed and Breakfast in Newport. The cottage has been beautifully restored and refurbished to a very high standard enhancing the character and charm of this notable and much loved accommodation. Featuring original oak beams, crog loft, stone walls, slate flooring, log burner and period furnishings. The garden is a peaceful haven which is enjoyed by a variety of birds, rabbits and squirrels, and has a large lawn, patio and many exotic and indigenous plants.
Newport is the perfect location for walkers, bird watchers, nature and beach lovers, artists and historians. Local activities include the 18 hope links golf course, fishing, tennis, kayaking, horse-riding and cycling. A short car journey provides much enjoyment at Blue Stone and the Blue Lagoon, Folly Farm, the Dinosaur Park and the Shire Horse Farm.

Newport is ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire, and Pentre Ifan (ancient burial chamber) and Castell Henllys are a few miles out of the town.
St David's Cathedral and numerous beaches are within a short drive of Newport. The Preseli Mountains are easily accessed from Newport and The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path (voted the second best in the entire world by the National Geographic) follows the coast through Newport.

Approximately two and threequarter hours from the Severn Bridge. Continue to the end of the M4 then take the A40 through St Clears and Whitland. Take the A 478 at Narbeth roundabout (3rd exit) and continue to Blaenffos. After Blaenffos turn left on B4332 and continue to T junction. Turn left onto A487 and continue to Newport. Y Bryn is located on the A487.
