It has a sunny breakfast room with quarry tiles and former chapel leaded-glass window, a big open-plan living/main sleeping area with a woodburning stove, a characterful kitchen, shower room and separate toilet.
The main sleeping area is on the ground floor with a large double bed and a sleeping crog loft on the first floor provides 2 additional single beds, partially open to the main room. This area is accessed by ladders.

The cottages are set in five acres of gardens, copses and fields. It's very green and very quiet apart from lots of birdsong. Guests are welcome to explore our gardens and land. There's a beautiful walled garden that's a real sun-trap, and lots of nice picnic spots in the fields and under the trees.
Maen-Offeiriad (pronounced 'mine off-airy-add') means 'the priest-stone'. We've been told that the name refers to a large slab of Preseli Bluestone half-hidden beneath an oak tree, but no-one seems to know where the name comes from. The spot has been occupied for a very long time; at least 200 years. There is a very old stone pigsty next to the cottage that's a listed building!
The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

The beaches, restaurants and shops of Newport are a 15 minute drive. Cardigan which is a larger town is about 20 minutes drive.
