About the home

2/3 bedroomed penthouse apartment in a grade II listed building on Newcastle’s quayside.
Perfect for large groups / stags and hens.

Quayside Penthouse is on two floors and can sleep up to 8 (one bedroom with two double beds, one bedroom with triple bunkbeds, one bedroom area with double bed settee which can be separated off from 26 ft living area via curtain.

There are two bathrooms (one en-suite) both with bath and shower over.The main bathroom has a Grohe double headed shower . As well as a separate kitchen the Penthouse has a separate wet bar area for preparing the evening's drinks. The bedrooms are on the upper floor accessed by a beautiful curved staircase. The master bedroom suite has a travertine tiled en-suite bathroom with his and hers wash basins.
Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes .The living/dining room has contemporary furnishings and boasts beautiful views via 4 arched windows. There is a 42" plasma Ambilight television as well as PS2 which can play dvds. There is free wi-fi internet access available. Unfortunately the apartment is unsuitable for elderly or young children/babies since it is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building (no lift) - the communal staircase is quite steep.

We are happy to accept groups up to 8 but will point out that with only two bathrooms there may be some queuing for ablutions and also bedroom two will be quite cozy !

At the weekends the Penthouse has to be booked with its adjoining apartment Tyne View.

Quayside Penthouse is strictly non smoking.



No early check in is possible.

We require 25% deposit to secure the booking with the balance due 28 days before the stay.
Credit/debit cards are not accepted.
Payment can be made by cheque or money transfer.

The Northern England / Northumberland region

As well as Newcastle and the quayside itself there are many other visitor attractions within the region.

Over the river in Gateshead you could enjoy the Victorian splendour of Saltwell Park as well as visiting our guardian Angel of the North.There are beautiful beaches at Tynemouth a short metro ride away or a bit further afield the stunning Northumberland coast boasts many attractions including Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle and Holy island.

Beamish open air museum is a great day out for the family as are the stately homes of Cragside and Wallington in Northumberland.

Durham with its famous cathedral is a short drive or train ride away.The Roman sites at Hadrians Wall and Segedunum (Wallsend) are also well worth a visit.

The Newcastle Upon Tyne / Quayside area

Newcastle's nightlife and cultural attractions are all within walking distance of the apartments.

“PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT” Booked these appartments for my daughters 21st Birthday weekend. We booked all 4 apartments to hold 21 people. They are perfectly positioned for all nightlife and are of high standard. The penthouse and all apartments are well looked after and beautifully decorated in a modern way. The owners of these apartements are sooo lovely, Well Done Dave and Gilda. I would definately recommend for groups who want to be near the nightlife of the bustling Quayside. Cannot wait to return to these apartments, and if i ever return to Newcastle I will be contacting Dave and Gilda first.
