The river views from the balcony are exceptional and all of the bars and restaurants of the vibrant Newcastle Quayside night life are just a few minutes walk away. The apartment is next door to the Sage music venue and is within walking distance of the railway station, Metro rapid transit system and local buses and taxis. The apartment has two bedrooms (one en suite) and sleeps four. The large open plan lounge leads on to the balcony with excellent river views. The kitchen is fully appointed with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Free wifi is included and free view TV. The apartment has an allocated secure off street parking space for one car.
The apartment presents an excellent alternative to hotels and provides a perfect home base for business trips or holiday breaks.
The apartment is available for a minimum four night stay however this is negotiable for shorter periods at our discretion.
The apartment is situated in a quiet residential block and therefore we regret we are not prepared to accept bookings from hen or stag parties or all male or all female groups under the age of 25.
Payment is in full prior to arrival and a security deposit is required of £200 refundable via bank transfer two weeks after departure and is surrenderable in the event of damage to the property or nuisance behaviour in or around the apartment.

The Tyne and Wear region
Newcastle upon Tyne sits on a historic crossing point of the river Tyne. The Romans first bridged the Tyne and called their settlement Pons Aelius after the family of the Emperor Hadrian. The City became known as Newcastle after William Rufus, son of William the Conqueror fortified the crossing point on the Tyne by building a castle on the steep sided promontory which overlooks the river. The castle keep remains a dominant feature of the city today.
Newcastle has evolved from a commercial and industrial centre to become a vibrant tourist and business destination which provides a fantastic array of bars, restaurants, night-life and interesting tourist locations, ranging from the many Roman heritage sites along the length of Hadrians Wall to the modern Sage music venue and the contemporary Baltic Gallery on the Gateshead Quayside.
The city has become renowned as a party city and is frequently mentioned by travel writers as a top visitor destination for leisure and the arts.
The fantastic Northumberland country and seaside are on the doorstep and include the Cheviot Hills, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles and the haunting and evocative Lindisfarne (Holy Island). All are well worth a visit and are within an hour and a half drive from the city centre.

Eldon Square shopping centre in the heart of Newcastle is a short walk and the internationally renowned Metro Centre is a 10 minute taxi ride away. The Sage music venue and the Baltic Gallery are immediate neighbours and Tyne River Cruises are based on the opposite bank of the river over the Millennium Bridge.
