As a former gatehouse to an old mansion, this lovely cottage is a detached property and is situated in the scattered, rural village of Coed-Y-Bryn. With three bedrooms, a welcoming lounge and a large enclosed garden, this excellent cottage is ideal for a large family, two families or a group of friends.

The local area has plenty of activities to offer, including trips on an old-fashioned steam railway, laser shooting, bird watching and visits to the seaside. Llangranog and the delightful town of Cardigan are just a short drive away and provide the property with every amenity a guest might need.

The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.

In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers.

Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.


Newcastle Emlyn / Coed-Y-Bryn area

Set in the picturesque Ceredigion countryside, Coed-Y-Bryn is a lovely, rural, scattered village which boasts a local pub serving good food. Less than 10 miles away are the incredible, award winning beaches of Cardigan Bay which provide not only long stretches of golden sand but also excellent water sports facilities. The region also offers laser shooting, white-water canoeing and paint-balling. For those looking to enjoy a more relaxed pace of life, the old fashioned steam railway offers visitors the chance to take a 20 minute train ride through beautiful countryside.

The market towns of Tregaron and Llandysul are within easy driving distance whilst nearby bird watchers may be lucky enough to spot the rare Red Kite. With so much to do, this wonderfully diverse area makes a great holiday spot for the whole family.
