The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region
The farmhouse is in rural location with many pleasant walks ,a little further a field the coast is only twenty minutes drive and the coastal path and beaches will appeal to many . Beside walks many people enjoy cycling around the picturesque local country roads
The local villageof Cenarth has two pubs and a garage, as well as a very nice tea room. Under the lovely old bridge there is a river as well as famous waterfalls. There is a path to walk along the river but more suitable for accustomed walkers, as can be very slippy in the wet weather. There are other attractions such as a ruined castle in the nearby village of Newcastle Emlyn , as well many second hand / Antique shops to wonder round. At Cilgerran, more castle remains can be found, as well as a wid life park with walks to suit all abilities. In Cardigan work a large project is under way to rescue Cardigan Castle.

"Comfortable and convenient house set in wonderful peaceful environment."
We have stayed at Bryn several times, usually to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Whilst the house is technically a bit big for just the 2 of us (plus our 2 well-behaved German shepherds), we find that its flexible nature adapts perfectly to our needs.
The huge well fitted kitchen is a delight and the big farmhouse table is great to sit around for meals, games or just a chat and would be ideal for big families too.
We prefer the small sitting room (which we call 'the snug') and since we usually visit in spring or autumn, we thoroughly enjoy the warm and atmosphere creating wood burner.
We find the downstairs bedroom to be most convenient for our needs as it is large, with comfy beds and an adjacent loo. It enables us to remain 'in touch' with our dogs who sleep outside the door in the lobby. However, this room would be equally convenient for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
Bryn Farm is set in beautiful, peaceful and scenic countryside with loads of walks, from the door, on quiet lanes and footpaths. There are several charming country pubs within a short drive or walk if you are energetic. Newcastle Emlyn, (which is about a mile away) is well served by pubs, shops, restaurant/takeaways and an excellent small supermarket called CKs.
The owners, Nancy and Andy, are charming and friendly but are not regularly on hand as they are busy farmers living about 20 minutes away. However, they are responsive and are always happy to assist with any unforeseen difficulties.
