The North Wales region
Anglesey is a place where you can get away from it all. Relax, enjoy the hospitality and lose yourself in the island’s winding lanes or on its spectacular coast. There's also plenty to do for all the family with events, attractions and outdoor activities all set in beautiful scenery.
Tyddyn Plwm Isa is located on the Anglesey Coastal Path and a walk along this path takes you directly to Llanddwyn Island, beach and sand dunes. A stunning beach on the South West corner of Anglesey overlooking Snowdonia Mountain Range and the Llyn Peninsula. Llanddwyn Island has a monument to Dwynwen the Saint of Welsh Lovers and has pretty fishermen's cottages and sheltered sandy coves.
Tyddyn Plwm Isa is also on the edge of Newborough forest a nature lovers paradise. It is home to Red squirrels, birds, flowers, butterflies, wild ponies and rare breed farm animals.
The main beach car park will be closed between 22nd October 2012 and March 2013. Visitors can visit Llanddwyn beach by walking or cycling from Tyddyn Plwm Isa (around 1 mile).
The Anglesey Sandman Triathlon takes place in September from Newborough Forest.
Nearby, attractions for families include Foel Farm Park, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Tacla Taid (a museum of vintage vehicles).
For sport lovers, Llanddwyn is a perfect beach for kitesurfing and there is golf, surfing, sea kayaking and windsurfing 5km away at Rhosneigr. Other attractions include The Anglesey circuit for car racing, go carting or take a day trip to Dublin via ferry from Holyhead.
The Village of Newborough has a general stores, post office, pub and chip shop. There is also a very nice cafe called The Marram Grass only a short walk from the cottage.

"Our Little Hide Away.........."
This wonderful lodge Isa, is a very special place to us. It is our escape, a place to relax, chill out and kick back. Our dogs love it here, so much space to run around in, a toasty log burning fire for cosy evenings in after a full day walking the beach or trecking through the nearby woodland. Big panoramic windows with the morning sun beating through ideal for starting the day ready to go off exploring again and the hosts are .......wonderful......they are so welcoming, helpful and think of everything you need for a perfect stay and yet leave you in peace, making you feel like you actually live there!! The furniture is comfy, the place is spotless and the views are amazing.
We love it there, but don't tell anyone....... it's only for us to enjoy!
