Ashley Bank cottages is made up of two fantastic cottages (Ashley & Beechtree) which can be rented together. It is peacefully located near the head of the Ravenstonedale Valley in two acres of wooded grounds with magnificent view of the Howgill Fells. Ashley Bank is intended for large parties due to its ability to accommodate up to 16 people.

Ashley cottage (sleeps 12):

1 double bedroom ensuite bathroom

2 twin bedrooms with shared bathroom

2 family bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms; 3 single beds in each room.

All the bed linen and hand towels in the bathrooms are provided. We do not provide bath towels.

Penrith, also a market town is located within the Eden Valley and situated just north of the River Eamont- just 3 miles outside the boundaries of the Lake District National Park.

"Cosy and comfortable"

A very warm welcome to a very cosy and comfortable holiday home. Everything one might need is provided. We were eight adults and four children, and bedroom accommodation is flexible with good quantity of showers and toilets. Lounge is arranged in two halves that makes it difficult for all twelve people to sit together, but this might appeal to other family groups. Great views of impressive countryside around- a beautiful part of the world. Note that there are several steps from car park to front door

Ashley bank has everything you could need for a large party of family, Bedroom combinations were perfect for us and the garden us wonderful. Weather was not good for us (October in surprise!!) but we still had a great time. Plenty of toys for children, lovely swing/ slide . We would def book again.

"Can't recommend this place enough for families and/or large groups"

Absolutely great place to stay....perfect quiet location yet a short drive from amenities, lovely clean furnishings decorated to a high standard, and best of all great, kind hosts who will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. For families with young children there is a huge garden for the children to place in which has a slide and climbing frame.
