This lovely studio is in an original NYC brownstone on tree-lined street in MANHATTAN. Scottish lady owner/occupier of small historic Building ,which part of, is also the family home.

Comfortable and clean with all you need for a home in Manhattan.
Fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs.
Double size bed which sleeps 2

Tompkins square park is 2 blocks away with all it famously has to offer.

The New York region

The Big Apple is one of the greatest cities to visit in the world. Great for shopping, art galleries, culture, food and the general Big Apple experience.

This is on a great block in the most fashionable neighbourhood. The EAST VILLAGE has become the area everyone goes too nowadays. There are fab cafes, affordable restaurants, brilliant bars with live music.
If you want a real BIG APPLE EXPERIENCE this is the place to be.

The New York City / East Village area

Downtown is where to go and the East Village/Lower East Side is the most happening and hip neighbourhood.There are original shops and a good art scene ,as well as theatre all on your doorstep and just about anything goes,so come and enjoy a real good time.

There is a true melting pot of people,who are very friendly. This area is so very easy to visit and allows you to hang out and people watch or shop the original stores.It is also very close to SOHO,which has all the most fashionable designer stores.

Visit Katz's the oldest deli in NYC established in the 1880's and eat pastrami sandwiches to die for.The oldest bar in NYC 'McSorleys' is also on E 7th st ,only a few blocks away,or hang out at the 7/B where Crocodile Dundee was filmed.The Tenement Museum is a great place to visit and see how it used to be in the 1900's_this area is where they filmed most of 'The Gangs of NY'.

Come and see the real BIG APPLE:fantastic and freindly.There are great children's play parks near and the area is very family friendly.NYC is very small and it is easy to get to all the sights on Manhattans great and cheap public transport.

There are cafes, restaurants ,bars galore in this neighborhood with amazing food from everywhere at great prices. I will email you some of our favourite , if you ask It has a great live music scene and many galleries.
You can walk to soho,no ho,greenwich village all the great downtown neighbourhoods or walk across the Williamsburg bridge to Williamsburg,which is NYC's newest trendy spot. This is the "Greenwich village" of today.
