After an exciting and fun filled day of sightseeing, shopping, museums and theater you can escape from the fast pace and relax in haven of peace and calm atmosphere...just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Spacious and romantic apartment has a rare large private garden & full size kitchen & dining area. The apartment sleeps 5 guests and the adjacent suite sleeps up to 5 guests.

It is said that the famous dancer Isadora Duncan once lived here. We haven't been able to confirm this, but like to believe that it is true. We hope that you will spend some time here, too.

Your private walled garden is perfect place for relaxing with your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine. Watch the squirrels scamper and hear the birds singing in the trees as you put your feet up and wind down.

Surprisingly this tranquil oasis exists right in central Manhattan on a beautiful tree lined residential block at East 30th Street and Park Avenue with convenient access to just about all you want to see and do.

Wander inside your apartment and enjoy the charm of exposed brick walls, wide plank floors, a fireplace and original oil paintings. The large living room offers 2 matching sofas in classic muted colours. A cushioned single Bahama bed is convenient for another guest and there are 2 fold-out ottomans that open into 2 single beds if needed..

A quaint 150 year old opaque glass wall separates the living room & bedroom. The en suite modern tiled bathroom has a small tub with shower, a built-in vanity for the sink & wrap-around mirrors.

The dining area with cushioned window seat overlooks the peaceful garden. If you don't feel like cooking, just order in from the many nearby restaurants or have the grocery stores deliver.

The apartment is on the garden floor in the back and is exceptionally quiet, clean, safe and secure. You'll find many extra modern details such as high hat lights in all of the rooms, a security buzzer to open the front doors and quality windows and doors.

Pamper yourself with an excellent night's sleep and wake refreshed in the queen size bed with quality linens, a fluffy feather duvet and lots of pillows. There's plenty of room for all of your clothes and shopping sprees in a wall of custom fitted closets.

Do you need more space. An adjacent 2 room duplex suite is available for larger groups. The New York sized (ie:smallish) for 10 downstairs room is furnished as a library with a double innerspring sofa bed for 2 guests. There are private stairs in this room leading to a very spacious bedroom on the first floor. There are 2 single beds, which can be made up into a king size bed if you prefer, and a chair bed that opens into a small single bed. The suite has a marble half bathroom with a sink and a toilet.

This is an upscale neighborhood and guests are required to be considerate of the neighbors. There is a 4 night minimum stay and a 1 week minimum stay over holiday weeks

We stayed with our whole family of eight people in the townhouse and it could easily accommodate us. Enough rooms and space for everyone. We really enjoyed our vacation in NYC and we had a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better location. When we go back we will definitely try to stay in Marea's townhouse again. We stayed at this apartment during our family's week long visit to NYC. This apartment is very conveniently located. We can be midtown, uptown, downtown and crosstown in no time. The place itself is very clean and has that old charm. Marea was such a gracious host. We really enjoyed her warm hospitality. Gigi and Leoni were both very friendly and accommodating too. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to stay here again when we go back to New York city in the future. It is also surrounded by many good restaurants. We especially liked Jaiya Thai, Iron Sushi and Mishima. And the bagels at Dunkin Donuts! Thank you again, Marea!

The above rates are for 10 Guests in the apartment and the suite combined. For all weeks shown, DEDUCT $150 a week for each guest under 10.

If you take the apartment alone, DEDUCT $1075 or more if you are only 2 guests.

This pricing keeps the rent low for smaller groups.

The refundable security deposit is 50% of the rent and is refunded after the phone bill is received. This may be put on a credit card as an authorization and not an actual charge if you wish. It is due 1 month before arrival or in cash on arrival.

Departure cleaning is $110 in the apartment and $75 in the adjacent suite for stays of less than 1 week.

A rent deposit of 50% of the total rental is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable a month prior to arrival or immediately if your departure is less than a month away.

New York City and New York State taxes are added.

To secure a reservation a rent deposit of 50% of the total fees is due.

Visa and Master Card are accepted as are bank transfers, and checks in dollars.

Rates are subject to change without notice for all non secured bookings.
