The Pre - War building has soaring ceilings and an amazing open city view of the West Side. There is a live in super, laundry in the basement and an elevator. Some of the most beautiful brownstones In NYC are located on this very pretty block filled with trees and natural light.
The apartment is situated in the Upper West Side, it is truly a Premium location as it is only steps from Central Park, and one block from the museum of Natural History Museum, Observatories/ Planetariums, one of the greatest museums and adventures for adults and kids. The film Night of the Museum with Ben Stiller was filmed there! Or you can take the family to The Children's Museum at 212 West 83rd Street to see one of the myriad exhibits going on.
A not to miss and more adult place to visit is the upper west side's most phenomenal grocery store, Zabar's at 2245 Broadway (80th Street) which boasts some of the finest cafe's, cheeses, and smoked fish in NYC. In addition the area has great dining and restaurants, one real retro spot, Artie's Delicatessen on 2290 Broadway at 83rd St offers an authentic New York deli experience, complete with Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray soda and brusque waitresses who call everyone "honey." Another nice restaurant is Nice Matin a great place for anybody located at Amsterdam Avenue (79th St).
