Home description
Close to Manhattan. Private Apartment for Visiting families and friends of the Big Apple.
A PRIVATE APARTMENT MEAN SECLUSION. PROXIMATELY MEANS CONVENIENCE. Somewhere between Manhattan and Shea Stadium in Queens, exists a little known neighbourhood called Woodside.
The home is located in Woodside, Queens. I have been living here most of my life and commute to the city on a daily basis. I live here because the commute is great, and i love the diversity of the neighbourhood. I have lived in all five boroughs but find this commute to be the most convenient. Thus the reason I stay. It is a safe residential area in a working-class neighbourhood. In the summer the park across the street is filled with children. We are families that work hard and mind our own business. The contrast is the 7 Irish bars we have within walking distance, in the event you don’t have a family.

How to get there
To get to city centre.
The home is close to 61st street station in woodside queens, a commuter hub.
At 61st, you can take three options into the city. The first is the subway. The second is the Long Island Rail Road. The third is the Q32 bus. (you can actually pick up the bus a block away from the home too).
The 7 subway is 1 express stop plus three local stops to grand central station, and then 1 more stop to fifth avenue and one more to times square. Central Park is even closer, if you transfer at Queens Paza for the N line.
If speed and ease are your wish, then take the LIRR to Penn Station, it will whisk you there in 10 minutes flat, no stopping or transferring.
The bus is the scenic route, take it if you have some time as you take in the Queensview of the city skyline, the best in all the boroughs.
Transportation runs 24 hours a day every 2-10 minutes. You don’t have to worry at all it is a commuter neighbourhood and it’s rare to own a car. Everything you need is within your reach. Rents are high and so are home prices for this very reason.
