Stunning spacious two bedroom apartment available for holiday/short term lets in Edinburgh. It has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with solid oak flooring throughout. If you want to be in this fabulous city in a quiet yet central apartment, this is the place to stay!
Centrally situated in theUNESCO New Town Conservation area( built in stages between 1765 and the mid 1800s). Princes Street, Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile are all within easy walking distance. North Bridge and South Bridge (where the Festival venues are located) are similarly close as is Calton Hill, with its lovely walks and stunning views over Edinburgh.
It's very comfortable ~ high quality leather furniture (including reclining armchair, so very restful!) Comfortable beds ~ one with a double bed, the other a kingsize which separates into 2 singles, as required. Comprehensively equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.; showerroom with shower, vanity unit and toilet. Cloakroom with toilet and vanity unit.
The apartment has been planned to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. It is suitable for up to 4 people. A free meet and greet service is provided to show you around, make sure that you have all the information you require and to hand over the keys to you.
Equally, a great deal of thought has gone into equipping the apartment so that you don't have to dash around stocking up on the basics ~ all linen, towels, tea towels,paper towels, toilet rolls, toiletriesetc are supplied ~ as are tea, coffee, sugar and milk to get you started.

Edinburgh is a really fantastic inspiring city ...but then that's why it's a World Heritage City!
If you love falling over History, admiring beautiful architecture, drinking in stunning scenery...as well as the native whiskey, of course!...then Edinburgh is the place to be! The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Princes St., Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Arthur's Seat etc etc are all to be explored, admired and enjoyed..
There's just so much to see and do...you'll want to come back again and again. As well as being so interesting, there are endless things to enjoy...being a truly cosmopolitan city there's all sorts of restaurants/cafes/eateries delivering fine food of all kinds; endless culture rich attractions, fantastic shopping experiences (just try George Street for starters!) ; The people are a delight ~ so helpful and friendly ~ and of course, there's all the rest of Scotland to go at as well!
The lovely thing about Edinburgh is that it's a compact city absolutely teeming with History, Culture and interesting things to see and do (and what about the pandas??) and yet you can very quickly access the wider Scotland to see beautiful countryside and coastlines.

"Great location, comfy apartment"
We stayed at Hillside Street for Christmas 2014. It was a great base for exploring Edinburgh and also perfect for staying inside in front of the fire. The flat is about a 10 minute walk from the Centre of Edinburgh - perhaps a bit less - and very near lots of shops and restaurants but it is still very quiet, there is no noise from the street or traffic.
The flat is very well equipped - we cooked a whole Christmas dinner there no problem at all! The rooms are a good size - particularly the living room and there is lots of space to unpack in the bedroom. The bathroom is small and a bit dated but everything works fine.
From the first moment I enquired the owner could not have been more help. She responded to all requests speedily, was flexible about dates and arrangements for picking up keys and really made us feel well looked after. I would very happily stay in this apartment again.

And yes, the bathroom does need to be updated...but not for long! .Both kitchen and bathroom are being updated as part of a schedule of re-configuration (to include a second bedroom) and complete refurbishment this spring.
