"Exceeded all expectations, wonderful hosts. Perfect location combined with a comfortable stay."
The apartment was more spacious than the photos online gave credit to. Well equipped and comfortable, with a touch of class as well as quirky original features to boast. Our hosts were a delight and not only a wealth of information and ideas but willing to go the extra mile. With personal touches and a friendly smile, we most certainly hope to re-visit this wonderful city and apartment.

"Great flat. Great location."
We loved the flat. It was well equipped and homely. The owners were friendly and helpful. Only minor improvement would be curtains to second bedroom as blind didn't block lamplight but that's the only issue, everything else was great and we hope to return.
Thanks for your comments - and we note the point about the street light from the back lane window in the small bedroom. Perhaps the "designer" blind is too "brief"! We are taking your comment seriously and will arrange a Roman blind that should solve the issue.
I hope you will return and we can welcome you back.

"Luxurious and spacious design in the perfect location"
WOW! This is a truly fantastic apartment which has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard and the attention to stylish detail is evident in every single room. The first WOW comes already when walking through the door and into the spacious and welcoming entrance hall with its impressive decor incorporating a huge stone wall, and from there on the WOWs just keep coming. The open-plan living room / dining area / kitchen is large and stylishly furnished, and has all the usual amenities such as flat screen satellite TV, DVD, iPhone music station, etc. plus a modern gas fireplace with remote control. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped, and the large dining table seats six people comfortably. The master bedroom is luxurious and spacious, and the en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower has high WOW-factor. The other bedroom is spacious and has a comfortable double bed plus a pull-out sofa bed and thus sleeps 4. The main bathroom comes well equipped and has a bathtub with shower. The wifi signal is strong and is easy to connect to.
The apartment is perfectly located for just about everything in the city of Edinburgh. The main shopping streets (i.e. Princes Street and George Street) are just a short stroll away (2-5 minutes), whereas some of the city's finest restaurants and bars are virtually next door in Thistle Street. I personally recommend Fishers in the City (superb seafood restaurant), Dusit Thai Restaurant and the Bon Vivant Bar (WorldsBestBars Expert's Choice and Michelin Guide Recommended), which are all next door neighbours! Most of the night scene takes place in George Street, and is also within easy stumbling distance...
Robert, the landlord, is very pleasant and accommodating. He greeted us with a warm smile upon arrival, spent plenty of time to show us around the apartment and gave us a wide range of recommendations for making the most of our stay in Edinburgh.
Will we be coming back to this beautiful apartment? Definitely!
