Location! Location! Location! Our stunning 4 star courtyard apartment is only 8 steps down from pavement level. Courtyard areas to front and rear suitable for smokers - rear area also has patio table and chairs.
3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms! Beds can be 3 king-size or 6 singles. All bedrooms have wall mounted TV's. We have a quality folding bed which comfortably increases the sleeping arrangements to accommodate 7 guests at a cost from £40 each per night. We can supply free of charge a travel cot & high chair. There are lots of toys, games, books, cd's & dvd's in the apartment.
Fabulous large comfortable lounge with leather corner sofa and plenty seating for guests to relax and chill. 42" wall mounted TV with Free-view channels including surround sound. Dining area for 8 guests. Superb fully equipped kitchen including hob, double oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee-maker & toaster. Plenty plates, cutlery, glasses, pots etc.
We provide a "Welcome Pack" which contains, butter, bread & milk. There are always tea bags, sugar, salt, pepper, sauces, cooking oil, dish-washing tablets, bin liners etc., in the apartment.
Outside patio area to front and rear of property which is suitable for smokers. The apartment is cleaned to the highest standard.
We take a £200 security deposit which is refunded several days after departure when the apartment has been checked.

The apartment is only 8 steps down from street level so suitable for guests with limited mobility.
There is a terrace to the front and rear of the property - the rear terrace has a patio with table & chairs. Smokers may smoke in either terrace but not in the apartment.
There is on street metered parking, which is free if any of the party hold a blue disabled badge car permit. There is a public car park in Castle Terrace which is about a ten minute walk away through Princes Street gardens. We usually recommend an area which by car is only about ten minutes away that has free on street parking, then you can take a bus (£1.50) or a taxi (£7/8) back to the apartment.
A car is not necessary at this apartment as the transport links are excellent. Plenty of guided tours available through the Tourist Board also.
Rugby, special event weekends etc are charged at a slightly higher rate, please enquire for a price.
All prices are for SIX guests. There is an extra charge per night for the quality folding bed to accommodate a 7th guest.
We take a £200 security deposit to hold your dates then payments are usually split into two.
Normal check in is 3pm and check out 12, noon but we are always as flexible as possible at no extra charge.
The Edinburgh region
Edinburgh is the capital City of Scotland and our apartment is only one minute away from the most famous street in Scotland, Princes Street with a wealth of shops on one side and the beautiful Princes Street gardens on the other. Edinburgh Castle can be seen from the front of the property.
Shops, restaurants, bars, museums, art galleries etc on your doorstep. Two train stations Waverley & Haymarket within a ten minute walk. Edinburgh's main bus station is about a five minute walk away.Airport bus & tram stops on Princes Street.
There is a list of restaurants in the apartment that either we or guests have recommended.
Lots of tourist leaflets and information in the apartment.

Pat was extremely easy and lovely to deal with. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. We were made to feel like old friends coming to visit. Pat even left a welcome package which was so appreciated after our long day traveling. All the information you may need, restaurants, groceries, nearby attractions, is listed in a visitors book. Transportation from airport to the apartment and local transport within the city is very close by. I was exceptionally pleased with everything this place had to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like just a little bit of luxury and relaxation! All 5 family members chose this place and Edinburgh as our favorite of all time! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

"Great apartment with great location!"
We spent a long weekend in Edinburgh. It was not easy to find for 5-6 guys an apartment with minimum 3 bedrooms and single beds. Luckily we found this. It was perfect for us. Big living room with audio, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Back terrace, where smoking is allowed. Location is great in New Town. Pubs, restaurants and shops are near. It takes about 10 minutes walk to railway station and 15 minutes walk to The Old Town.

"Well equipped central apartment, friendly owners and lovely stay"
The apartment was very central being situated just off george street. When opening the door we could see the castle. There are a number of cosy pubs and bars on rose street and the shops of princes street are two minutes away. All the communication with the owners prior to our stay was effortless and timely and the owners were lovely and accommodating of our requirments. The collection of keys was easy and we had clear instructions to the property provided. The owners were able to facilitate a late check out on our day of departure due to our travel times which was really appreciated. The apartment itself was spotless and spacious and it was a real find to have three bathrooms with the three bedrooms. The living room was spacious with plenty of chairs to accommodate everyone. A welcome pack with all the essentials and a bottle of chilled wine was there on arrival which was a nice touch. There was plenty of hot water and the apartment was nice and warm throughout our stay. There were board games and childrens games in the cupboards. The owners had thought of everything. Dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid were provided. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend a stay here. Im sure we will be back.

"A great city-centre apartment"
A great apartment for us 5 Girls (all over 60 yrs of age!). Plenty of room, beds can be singles or doubles and 3 Bathrooms - what a bonus! Ideal location for tourist attractions, shopping & eating out .Railway Station 10mins walk away. Airport Bus drops you at the end of the road. M&S Foodhall 10 mins walk. Ideal for all our needs. "Beautiful Apartment, perfect location."
I stayed at 49a North Castle Street with six friends. The apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and is in the most perfect location for exploring the city; everything is within walking distance - ideal for Edinburgh where I always find it difficult to get a taxi in the evening. Pat at Citylet was extremely helpful in arranging our stay. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and hope to stay there again in the future.

"Superb location - perfect for our needs"
myself and a group of friends stayed here oa a recent weekend to Edinburgh. we were delighted with the property - it was exactly as advertised. it was clean, spacious and the location was excellent, just round the corner from George street. the welcome pack of tea, milk,cereal etc was a lovely touch. We would have no hesitation reccomending this property to anyone.

"Lovely apartment, great location"
5 of us went to Edinburgh for a girly weekend and an apartment suited us better than a hotel. This place was great, loads of space and everything we needed. Location is excellent, we could walk everywhere but when our legs were tired a taxi was only a few pounds. The only negative was the street noise. There's no double glazing and at times it felt like people walking past chatting were in the room with you. I would not recommend this apartment if you are a light sleeper as most of us were kept awake by traffic noise. Other than that it was all good, no problems with wifi access, welcome pack on arrival with bread, cereal, milk etc and wine! We didn't cook but the kitchen was very well equiped if we'd wanted to. We all had a great weekend.
Thanks for your lovely comments! Unfortunately your stay was during restoration work on the building. Scaffolding covered the whole building with lots of workmen and their vehicles creating a very noisy environment and inconvenience. Glad to report work now completed and it's back to the lovely peaceful, quiet apartment it normally is.

"Lovely apartment - would recommend"
I visited this apartment with 5 of my female work colleagues for our christmas night out. We had a great time, there was plenty of room for us all, very spacious apartment. It was great having the 3 bathrooms, as you can imagine with 6 women trying to get ready. Location was perfect, so central to everything. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious apartment. The host was lovely and could not be more helpful.

"Fabulous location, lovely apartment"
Very spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Fantastic location for shopping, for tourist attractions and for evenings out. Everything within an easy walk and although a lower ground floor apartment, it was light, bright, clean and quiet - loved it! We also really appreciated the thoughtfulness of a loaf of bread, pint of milk, tea, coffee, butter etc.- even a bottle of wine to welcome us. Highly recommended as you can drop your shopping off, have a cup of tea and go back to shopping again!!!
