Beautiful 3 bedroom main door apartment in traditional cobbled street. Master king sized bed with ensuite, double and twin room. Very large superbly equipped kitchen, large living room and family bathroom. Cable TV, PS3 and broadband wifi. Access to garden to rear.

This unique apartment is quietly situated in a beautiful Victorian tenement on the edge of Edinburgh’s New Town. It has recently been carefully restored and decorated in contemporary style, creating just the right ambience for people who enjoy the independence of self catering.

East Claremont Street is an attractive cobbled street presenting fine examples of the diversity in architecture within the city. From the street there is a fine view of Edinburgh castle’s esplanade elevation (great for the fireworks displays) and Princes Street is mere 0.6 miles away.

The Broughton area has been transformed in recent years and now has a vibrant mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, designer shops, and beautiful play parks all within a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Parking is on street and by either meter payment 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday at approximately £1/hour or using visitors permits at £1 per 1 & half hours. Permits are available in the apartment or from owner, but these are limited by Edinburgh Council.

Security deposit £60 refunded seven days after departure providing the apartment has been left clean and tidy with no breakages.

Strictly no stag or hen parties.

The Edinburgh region

Edinburgh is famous for many of it's historic buildings known the world over including Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. A recent addition is the New Scottish Parliment Building set in the wonderful Holyrood Park. Holyrood Park itself contains Arthurs Seat (an extinct volcano) which attracts a large number of runners and hill walkers daily exploring the wonderful views of the city to be had from this historic mound.

A highlight of in the year is the Edinburgh Festival which is one of the the worlds largest arts festival and is hosted during the month of August. Running similtaneously are the Edinburgh Fringe, the Edinburgh Film and Edinburgh Jazz festivals lightening up the city for a prolonged arts experience everyone enjoys.

New Town

The apartment is close to all city centre amenities. The Palace, Castle, Scottish Parliament and famous Princess Street are within easy walking distance and similarly the beautiful Botanical Gardens, Calton hill and the Royal Yacht Brittania.

The accommodation is very close to the train and bus station with links to the airport allowing easy access to other parts of the UK.

"A home from home near the Pandas"

This apartment is in a great location, a short but uphill walk to Princes Street and the Royal Mile. The hosts were very welcoming and the apartment was spacious, well maintained and well appointed. The dining kitchen is a great space for the family to be together. The local shop is really useful for milk, bread and eggs.
Five minutes away are a host of eating places. The Edinburgh Pandas are a bus ride away. The castle, royal mile, the Britannia and the museums are within walking distance.

A great place for a city break.

"Fab apt with all mod cons in an ideal location"

There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this apt. I stayed with my sisters, sister in law and Mam for 4 nights to celebrate my mams 60th birthday-it was ideal. Close proximity to the city centre (approx 10 min walk). The apartment itself boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and very generous living accom and kitchen. The beds were so comfy- it is a real Home from Home. Would def stay here again and would highly recommend this accomodation for any stay. The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating and we really couldnt have asked for more. Sabrina Co. Dublin
