Reviewed January 3, 2015 NEW

Myself and my family (8 adults 2 children ) stayed at Forest Corner & Lodge for the New Year it is a truly perfect place the house has a lovely warm atmosphere and is spacious with plenty of room for us all to spread out, 4 of the adults slept in the lodge which is very cosy and filled with lots of fab modern touches they particularly enjoyed the sound system. I myself loved the hot tub. The horses came to visit us on both mornings which the children loved. Both properties were spotlessly clean, all the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen in the house is fully equipped the owners have thought of everything and we couldn't of asked for anything more I would highly recommend this accommodation.

“Luxury Lodge! Absolutely fantastic!”

The lodge is gorgeous and has all the mod cons you could ever need! Kitchen was stocked with essentials for when we arrived which was a really nice touch. Done to a very high standard. Fabulous, luxurious, romantic break. Setting is gorgeous and very private. Location is great - lots of things to see and do in the New Forest, it is just beautiful! If you like fish we recommend SevenFish restaurant in Ringwood.

The owner is great - always responds to emails/phone calls.

Overall, we were very impressed, couldn't fault it and can't speak highly enough, we will definitely be back in the future :)

This was a beautiful lodge with fantastic facilities the owners provided everything needed and we were thrilled with the overall experience. We had a small child with us who thoroughly enjoyed the garden area beautiful surroundings country walks and lovely local pub garden. We would most certainly recommend here to family friends and anyone wanting to experience a long break. Thank you again to the owners for a great long weekend!

“Idyllic New Forest getaway”

This modern, well-equipped and beautifully designed lodge is a perfect base to explore the New Forest. The outside hot tub is an excellent way to relax after a long day walking. Great pubs and restaurants nearby as well. The only problem was that we had to come home again. Host was also helpful when I lost my directions and couldn't find it (it's set well away from the road for maximum peace). We will be back for a longer stay.

About this location

The Hampshire region

The New Forest won Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Award for Best Destination in the world - come and visit us to see for yourself how wonderful it is. Forest Lodge is set in the peaceful New Forest National Park - where the deer, ponies, donkeys and cattle roam freely. The New Forest has numerous attractions to visit and sites to see. Or ideal for just a peaceful getaway. Every season paints a different picture, bluebells and foals in spring to brilliant leaf colours in autumn.

New Forest National Park

Ringwood stands on the western edge of the New Forest at a crossing point of the River Avon. For centuries it has been the traditional market town of the New Forest with its market charter dating back to 1226.

Ringwood still has a lively Wednesday morning street market and has remained a delightful, unspoiled historic town with both quaint and modern shops, street entertainment, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

Ringwood features a good selection of shops to browse in including three supermarkets and a wide variety of smaller specialist retailers. Be sure to wander down West Street to view the River Avon from the old three-arched stone bridge or enjoy a stroll around Jubilee Garden. The church too is well worth a visit.

Ringwood is well placed on the Avon valley footpath and ideal for an overnight stop.

There are many other opportunities to discover the area on foot and the visitor information centre can provide details of local town trails and walks.
