About the home
The Old Stables provides a high standard of self-catering accommodation set on a traditional New Forest small-holding. The owners, Jo and Jeremy live in the main farmhouse and are always on hand to give advice or take young visitors to meet their pigs, chickens and goats.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor next to the shower room and toilet. Upstairs there is a second bedroom with twin beds. A third bed can be added to this room on request. Facilities include two flatscreen freeview televisions, DVD player, ipod dock and dishwasher.
Guests are welcome to make use of the meadow field which is bordered by the meandering Avon Water. Storage for bikes and parking for boats can be provided on request.

The master bedroom, with double bed is on the ground floor with an adjacent shower room and toilet. The second bedroom, with two single beds, is in the old hayloft above.
The main living are is open-plan with a distinctive high-ceiling and leads onto a dining area and small kitchen. To the rear there is a small enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs and BBQ. Guest are also welcome to make use of the meadow field opposite the cottage.
Facilities include two flatscreen freeview televisions, DVD player, ipod dock and dishwasher.
All heating, towels, bedding (except for travel cot) and wifi are included in the price.

The Central Southern England / Hampshire region
Within an hour of the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury and half an hour from the sandy beaches and promenade at Bournmouth.
Within the New Forest, notable places of interest include Beaulieu (with its National Motor Museum), Bucklers Hard and Lyndhurst (the hear of the New Forest). A great favourite with children is Paulton's Park, with numerous rides and attractions including the recently opened Pepper Pig World.
The New Forest / Lymington area
The Old Stables is well situated to enjoy the best of both the New Forest and Solent Coast.
This is a great area for outdoor activities, particularly riding, cycling, rambling and sailing. The nearby Georgian market town of Lymington still hosts a thriving market every Saturday and the town has numerous shops, bars and restaurants worth a visit. Day trips across the Solent to the nearby Isle of Wight can be taken from Lymington or Keyhaven.
