The Central Southern England region

The New Forest is an area of southern England which includes the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest in the south east of England.

The New Forest coast extends for 26 miles in length making it up to 76% of Hampshire's total coastline (33 miles). This 33 miles is a very conservative value taken as the crow flies from the Hampshire-Dorset border to Chichester Harbour; if one follows the high water mark through every creek and inlet of every harbour and estuary the distance traversed becomes some 230 miles.

"Delightfully welcoming cottage, felt at home within minutes."

The cottage was clean, organized and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the badminton in the garden and the adults loved the large kitchen for gathering. The coastal walks and beaches were super and the quaint towns surrounding were fun to explore. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this cottage; the owners were helpful throughout the booking process and the stay.
