About the Owner
I bought Heatherview 10 years ago from Margaret, a lovely elderly lady who kept a beautiful garden and sang to her plants. My parents thought it would suit them when they grew less energetic. They never came here so I brought the cottage up to date, including building a new kitchen and began holiday lets. This has been a big success, Guests love the quiet, the donkeys and ponies, the peaceful garden and living 'on' the New Forest with walking for hours straight from the gate. I enjoy people enjoying Heatherview and I like being available to help or advise at any time. I live in Heather Cottage next door but I don't interfere unless asked! I'm a grandmother. I worked as a teacher in special needs. I love the sea, The Forest ,and providing such a lovely base for holidays.
