The Heart of England / Peak District / Lincolnshire region

Lincoln is a fantastic cathedral city with a plethora of roman architecture, culture, history and attractions. There is always something to do, with activities ranging from festivals, castle events, walks and great eateries.

Please find more information on the lincoln tourist information website on www.visitlincolnshire.com and www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk . The world famous Christmas market is held early in December. The Lincolnshire wolds and Viking way are a short drive away and the coast can be reached in approximately 45 minutes.

Nettleham area

There is an abundance of attractions for all ages: the Cathedral is a must, the castle, the ghost walk in the evenings, Lincolnshire history museum, and the local tourist bus tours of Lincoln.

For relaxing days, take a walking tour of the village of Nettleham with our picturesque Beck, village green and church. There are 3 good pubs in the village, all serving home cooked food and we have a library supplying information on the local area, small supermarket, butchers, post office, fish and chip shop, chinese takeaway, pizza/kebab shop, newsagents, tea rooms and several beauty salons providing pampering and treatments.

Within a short drive there is a golf course with restaurant, several other good pubs and many varied walks and places of interest, such as The Deep museum in Hull and Rand Farm for the children.
