The Old Mill is a lovely place : outside from traffic sounds, lakefront on a private lane in a quiet little Italian village, close to lake attractions and between Como and Bellagio Just 16 km far away!!! It is an historical building just been restored with all the modern conforts and furnished in a romantic way. Description: Entry, Fully equipped and modern kitchen open to the sitting-dining room with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, 4 fires, electric oven, microwawe, table with chairs, sofa, sat TV, radio, cd player, dvd player, wooden stove and little balcony with a very suggestive view on the lake and on the water falls.
Two bedrooms: double and twin, TV , bathroom with shower, wc. Sleeping gallery with double and single bed, bathroom with bath tub, wc and washing machine.
Big patio/ garden on the brook with table, chairs, beach umbrella, deck chairs and barbecue.
Private parking.
Free access to our private beach in Lezzeno with canoes, kayaks watersports and private parking.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area

It is no coincidence therefore that Lombardy offers some of the most refined and luxurious holiday destinations in Europe, or indeed the world.The region occupies most of the Po Valley , is bordered by the Alps and includes the vast Stelvio national park. This make the region perfect to enjoy the great Italian Lakes, including the jewel of Lake Como. Lombardy has all ingredients that are perfect for individual holiday: architecture, culture, fashion and style, sports and natural beauty.
Nesso area
Not far away from the famous Bellagio 16km and from Como it is the right place to stay if you want to enjoy the real Italian life. There are very impressive water falls with an old roman bridge right by the lake. Few little churches are visitable from the turists. One is particullary interesting because there are some frescos from the 1300. It is an old and peaceful village. People who like walking will find here a lot of interesting paths and little road like they were in the past. During the summer time there are few exibitions of fireworks one visible directly from the house and the other one on the island Comacina for the S. John day. The owner of the apartment owns also a famous water ski school located in Lezzeno where the guests can enjoy the lake and the beach and use free of charge canoes, kayaks and a big water trampolin. To pay is also possible to have water ski and wakeboard lessons with high professional teatchers.The countryside around Lake Como provides plenty of choice for the inquisitive traveller. You can take your pick from a variety of activities which can be strenuous or gentle to suit mood and preference. The culturally or artistic minded traveller will be delighted with the mediaeval towns and churches, the bijou galleries and the beautiful villas and gardens which adorn the lake. For the more sporty and energetic individual, there are plenty of things to do. We can offer water skiing and wakeboard lessons with word champions at our water sports centre. We also have a water trampoline and kayaks which are free. For the adventurous land traveller we have free bikes, and there are organised cycling and horse riding activities in nearby Bellagio. If hiking is what you’re after then look no further. Spectacular trails criss cross the mountains and lakeside including the Strada Regia, the historic Roman Royal Road which stretches from Como to Bellagio. For the discerning gastronomic traveller there are plenty of wine bars offering fine wines and restaurants specialising in local delicacies. The shops in Bellagio and Como offer a treasure chest of delights and of course a stop at one of the many gelatrias is a must. No visit to the lake is complete without some time spent on the water whether it be on a private boat tour or renting a local craft and what better way to start and end a day’s exploration than catching one of the many local ferries across our beautiful Lake Como.

How To Reach Us
By Car: Take the exit of Como Nord from the highway A9 Como-Chiasso and follow the directions to Bellagio, on the road you will find Nesso phone to the owner for an appointment By Plane Milano Linate: leave the airport and follow directions to Como - Chiasso (highway A9) until you reach the exit Como Nord (the last exit before the Swiss border). Then follow the above instructions.
Milano Malpensa: leave the airport and follow the directions to Milan (highway A8). Take then the highway A9 (direction Como-Chiasso) until you reach the exit Como Nord (the last exit before the Swiss border). Then follow the above instructions.
Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport: drive on the Highway direction Milano exit Bergamo Dalmine and follow for Lecco. Once in Lecco follow for Bellagio. Once in Bellagio drive direction Como after 16 km you will find the village Nesso.
By Train: The railway station of Como is only at 30 minutes drive. Trains coming from Germany and Switzerland directed to Milan Centrale stop in Como San Giovanni Railway Station. From Milano Centrale trains to Como leave every hour.
From Malpensa Airport by bus: from Malpensa Airport there is a bus service to Como. From Como by Ferry: line Como-Bellagio-Colico From Como by Hydrofoil: line Como-Bellagio-Colico

Further details indoors: The location is ideal for nice walksa in the village and on the mountains sourronding the magnificent Lago di Como. You can sop for fresh rolls and food in the immediate vicinity and there are 3 restaurant not too far away. You will have a private parking by the house for small and medium cars because the access iruns between some old houses for the last 150 meters. Especially large vehicles or cars with lower suspension can be parked in a public parking at about 200 meters away.
Further details outdoors: Our guests have free access to our private beach, use of sun beds, beach umbrella, canoes, kajaks, water trampolin, bikes by our hotel located in Lezzeno just 6 km from the house.
