NEWLY BUILT fully furnished one-bedroom apartment which sleeps 4 plus cot, located on the sea front in a private complex , with two great beaches a short walk away. This apartment has a large living area, kitchen and tiled bathroom with bath and power shower. Very peaceful surroundings with panoramic sea views from the balcony. Complex has a communal swimming pool with free sunbeds and parasols plus children's pool and well tended gardens. Short walk to village centre with shops, bars and restaurants.

The Black Sea Coast region

The village of Ravda is close to the UNESCO world heritage site of Nessebar with its narrow cobbled streets and gabled houses and boast more than 40 churches on the small headland. Its ancient buildings and revival Bulgarian architecture has been preserved to superb effect. The old town boasts good quality restaurants many of them overlooking the picturesque harbour. Alternatively head for the largest holiday resort in Bulgaria - Sunny Beach (10 mins by bus) with its two water parks, one of which is on the outskirts of Ravda and can be reached on foot. Here there are ample places to dine, lively bars and good nightlife.

There are 11 Blue flag beaches in the Black Sea area, Sunny Beach being one of them with its 6kms of golden sand and is renowned for its cleanliness and suitability for families. Many watersports are available.

Nessebar / Ravda area

The village of Ravda is very unlike its close neighbour Sunny Beach in that there are no high rise hotels as the local council has stipulated that any new buildings are to be of a low level. This creates more of a holiday village feel. The village has plenty of well stocked supermarkets, several telephone kiosks near to the apartment and the main street has many bars and restaurants. Just outside the complex there are two small bays nearby, and a further two beaches are a short walk away.

How to get there

- Fly to Bourgas - Ravda is 20 mins drive from the airport
- Flights to Bourgas during the summer months are operated by Thomas Cook Airways, Monarch, First Choice Holidays and Britannia Airways. These are all chartered flights which allow you to stay for 7 or 14 nights. Bulgarian Airways (Bulgaria-air.co.uk) offer a scheduled service from many UK airports direct to Bourgas throughout the year. Also Wizz Air are now operating a direct service to Bourgas from Luton - wizz air.com. Alternatively you can fly British Airways to Varna (1hr 30mins transfer time).
- Car Hire available in the Airport Terminal but not required. Arrangements can be made with our English speaking friend from the Tourist office in Ravda for a private transfer to and from the airport (payable locally - cost approx. £15 each way). He has a people carrier and is available to drive you around during your stay if required and as he runs the tourist office he has many local excursions available.

This is the first summer I am renting the apartment out therefore everything is new.

The complex is very well looked after. The on-site maintenance man not only looks after the site but is there should you have any problems during your stay.

The advantage of this apartment is the peace and tranquility of village life in Ravda but only a short distance from the hustle and bustle. Nessebar and Sunny Beach are a short bus journey away. Great sandy beaches and safe swimming for adults and children.

PLEASE NOTE: DISCOUNT FOR TWO WEEK RENTAL - For all 2nd week rentals you only pay 75% of the 1st week price - eg 2 weeks in May will cost £350.

The apartment can be rented out of season if you need to stay in the area because you are on a viewing trip to buy property. This is charged at a daily rate of £20 (minimum 3 day stay).

During autumn, winter and spring the apartment is available on short term lets for people travelling to the area looking to purchase property as most hotels are closed these times of the year. I can be totally flexible on these bookings.
