The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
This area boasts the best climate in Europe and is excellent for many different kinds of holiday, whether sightseeing, relaxing, activity based, golf, water sports, walking or a mixture of all of these. You can ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon. Sample the delicious Andalusian cooking and take part in the numerous fiestas of the region.
Now the new motorway has opened up along the south coast Granada is only a 1 .5 hr drive. It boasts one of the most magnificent examples of classic Moorish architecture, the Alhambra Palace, seat of the Nasrid Kings. This is Spain's no1 Tourist Attraction. If you want to go skiing the Sierra Nevada is only 30 minutes further on from Granada.
Salobrena and Almuñécar are about half hour drive and have a much more Spanish flavour than a lot of the towns west of Malaga. The mountain town of Ronda is up in the hills above Marbella and is a 3 hr drive, but well worth it. The town straddles a deep gorge and hosts the Plaza de Torros the spiritual home of bull fighting.
Nerja / Burriana Beach area
Nerja has an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Even in winter temperatures are regularly 18-20c. There are plenty of local supermarkets and a good selection off restaurants with Spanish, English, Italian, German and Chinese cuisine.
Nerja is one of the few areas of the Costa Del Sol which has retained its charm and although busy and bustling with tourists it is a vibrant yet pretty and unspoilt "olde-Spanish" town. The coastline is particularly breathtaking and the mountains in the distance make a spectacular backdrop.
Nerja Caves where discovered in the late part of last century and are one of Spain's top tourist attractions.
Golf courses can be found within 30 minutes (ie Golf Baviera). The area is perfect for rambling up into the foothills and the national preserved parks.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga Airport with one of the many budget airlines. Nerja is a 40 minutes drive along the motorway from Malaga airport. Car hire is available from the airport, taxi or bus.

Further details indoors: The living room features 1 sofas, television with a satellite receiver, radio and CD. The bedrooms are one a double bed, commode, bedside table, wardrobe with hangers. The second bedroom with 2 singles beds and a pull out single bed, commode, and a bedside table. Both supplied with pillows, cushions and blankets. The dining area has a table with comfortable seating for 5 people, a commode and a china closet. The terrace covers all the length of the apartment with a table and 5 chairs for dining 'al fresco'. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron and ironing board and all the basic cookware and utensils you'll need to prepare meals. The shower room has a shower, hand-basin and washing machine. The toilette is separate.
All bedding is supplied, linen, towels, sheets, dish cloths but beach/pool towels are not.
Cot, highchair and baby bath available at a cost of 50 euros.

Changeover day flexible: Arrival and departure dates are not fixed therefore guests can stay for any length of time. This enables you to search for the cheapest flights, except summer period, from the 3rd of July till 28th of August 2010, which is only Saturdays.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rental price is required before a reservation can be confirmed. Deposit should be send by spanish transfer bank.
A refundable breakages deposit of 200 euros (or British Pounds) in cash is required on your arrival and will be returned to you after satisfactory property inspection the day of your departure.

The area was great, a bit of a walk to main area of a lovely town.the garden area was clean, and pool area great. We have just arrived home and are missing the place already. it was a fantastic four weeks we spent there. everything was just perfect..the apartment was so clean and bright. was just great to have a pool so near for the kids..the garden was beautiful.was great to have tv.microwave and especially washing machine..we loved the company of our two dogs...we hope to go back to stay before end of the year..you are a lovely friendly person ...so thanks again.
