Well back in Dublin after having a very relaxing time in AL, it was really great to be back !
Your restaurant recommendations where spot on, especially the pizza in the Italian place Bella R.? And also we liked very much the place beside the beach 3rd restaurant down from the roundabout - Costa del sol M. ? See attached 2 photo's of the goats just down from the house – took them one evening when we were heading out.

Jan and I were very lucky with the weather and had a very good short break (at the property). We thought it a very well-thought out holiday villa for the comfort of the guests, not to mention the wonderful views. There is absolutely nothing we would draw to your attention as anything less than perfect for what we wanted.
We tried four of your restaurant recommendations and were very pleased indeed with three of them. Pepe Rico was really excellent, and both San Miguel and La Restinga lived well up to your marking - you definitely gave us absolutely nothing to moan about!
Both Joaquin and Jose were charming. Jose was an indispensable help to us with the TV and with a self-inflicted battery problem with our hire car. We think you are very lucky with your pool and garden help.

Thank you so much from all of us, for letting us rent your wonderful home in Malaga. It was really special and we all said how we'd love to return. The pool was perfect as were the views. We ate twice at your restaurant recommendation that was 3rd on your list (the one you described as saying they pop over the road to get tomatoes, 8/10 I believe!) and we absolutely loved it. We had a bit of a clean-up before we left so I hope it was in a good state. No issues at all. We loved the BBQ too.
'We arrived home yesterday evening, having spent a lovely week at Al Ladino. I wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday, the weather was really good to us and the villa is splendid. Having arrived late on Saturday night it was really great that there some supplies at the villa for us - we were thinking that we would have to survive on one bottle of warm water and some pear drops until Sunday morning! The directions that you gave us were very clear even in the dark and all the guidance notes were very useful'.
' This is our third visit, Michael and I enjoyed the peace and quite, the children enjoyed the pool'

Thanks for your message, and thanks for returning our deposit.
Your villa was beautiful, in an idyllic spot, with marvellous views and our boys loved the refreshing pool, AS DID WE!
The weather was very hot and so we tried the barbeque. Quite sucessful!
Thank you also for your restaurant recomendations, some of which we tried.
All in all we had a lovely holiday so many thanks for that.
I hope all is well with you and your family.

Thanks for the note. We have just arrived home, unpacked and started the delights of the post holiday laundry.
We had a wonderful time at Al Ladino, although there was a serious danger of us becoming reclusive as we enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness to such a large extent that we were happier staying home rather than going out. This did mean I had a good chance of practicing my Spanish in the various markets and we ate like royalty because of the availability of such lovely fresh fish and vegetables.
We must say that Al Ladino was extremely well suited to us and there was nothing better than sitting outside in the evenings listening to the goats chomping their way up the hillside. Sadly they were too quick to catch as I'm sure I could have made a wonderful estoufado using one of the smaller ones.
