The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The area enjoys a subtropical climate with warm summers and mild winters. There are many attractions among them the Caves of Nerja closeby, plus tennis, golf, horseriding scubi diving at hand while major historic cities such as Granada, Seville & Cordoba are within a couple of hours. International shopping is possible 45 minutes away in Malaga. In winter, ski-ing is available 90 minutes away in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

'We arrived home yesterday evening, having spent a lovely week at Al Ladino. I wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday, the weather was really good to us and the villa is splendid. Having arrived late on Saturday night it was really great that there some supplies at the villa for us - we were thinking that we would have to survive on one bottle of warm water and some pear drops until Sunday morning!
