Home description

This is a comfortable 3 bedroom house built in traditional Spanish style situated in a quiet, well maintained urbanisation called Almijara III with beautiful gardens and two good sized communal pools (one for adults and one for children) The urbanisation is set on the hills behind the Burriana beach with beautiful sea views and against a backdrop of the rugged foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is a sauna which is open in the winter months and a bar/restaurant in the complex. A local shop stocks a good range of produce. It is about 60km from Malaga airport on the motorway. (A7)

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Andalucia is a fascinating potpourri of cultures and varied geographical features from the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada to the beautiful beaches on the coast where the sun shines all year round.
The Andalucians are fun-loving and hospitable people. Granada, Cordoba and Seville with their Moorish architecture, history and colourful atmosphere are within comfortable reach of Nerja.


Nerja / Almijara area

Nerja is a vibrant Spanish town with quaint streets, whitewashed houses, shops and supermarkets. There is the famous Balcon de Europa where tourists and locals including artists and craftsmen gather in the evening to enjoy the views, have a stroll and relax in the many bars and restaurants.
The surrounding area is very beautiful with scenic villages inland, and many sandy coves to be explored along the coast. The Marina del Este (6 km) is a medium-sized sports port with a beach and harbourside cafes. Nearby Almuñecar and Velez-Málaga have water parks. The famous Nerja caves are worth visiting.
The Baviera golf course is about 18 km away.

-Cheap flights available from most airports with cheap airlines like Easyjet, Bmi baby, Monarch, etc.

There is one full bathroom and a shower room both recently refurbished, a fully equipped kitchen (including microwave, fridge/freezer and electric kettle) and a large living/dining area with seating for six people, which has A/C and heating. There is satellite TV and a DVD player. Internet access is available on request. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The spacious back terrace and sun room are sunny all year, have sea views and are equipped with patio furniture for al fresco eating and barbecuing. The front garden with its flowers and lemon tree is a shadier place for quiet relaxing.
There is a large communal pool and children's pool (open May to October) exclusively for the use of residents in the urbanisation.
There is parking space.
