It is ideal for couples or small families with one or two young kids. Nerja / San Juan de Capistrano area
A place still exists on the Costa del Sol which lies between small coves untouched by development and surrounded by an impressive mountain scenery. At the easterly end of the province, only 60kms from Malaga and within 1 hours drive of Granada, you will find Nerja, the touristic capital of the Axarquia.
With its mild climate, you can enjoy yourself to the full all year round and take advantage of the relaxed way of life of a village that still retains much of the character of its Moorish past. Today, Nerja offers an excellent range of quality accommodation and leisure time facilities. There are thirteen kilometres of beaches, including the internationally famous Burriana beach that has once again been awarded by the Blue Flag of the European Union and the small coves below the impressive cliffs of Maro, which have been the inspiration of numerous artists who have set up residence here.
Lovers of nature can enjoy the wonderful countryside in the area, for those who seek alternative activities on their holidays, there is fishing, diving, waterskiing, canoeing, water bikes, hiking, cycling, horseriding, jeep safaris, paragliding and much more...
The historic centre, which begins in the Balcon de Europa (Balcony of Europe), was constructed around 1487. Former 9th Century Castle, it is now a viewing point above the sea. To the side of the Balcon, you will find the 17th Century El Salvador Church, constructed in baroque-mudejar style. You may also visit the 16th Century Nuestra Se�ora de las Angustias Hermitage with its paintings by the master Alonso Cano.
In the old quarter of town, typical small shops offer local craftworks and products of the area, including the sweet wine and olive oil, honey and tropical fruits. At the beach and fish restaurants you can enjoy the �pescaito frito� (fried fish), whilst the many international restaurants in town offer a wide variety of menus to suit all tastes.
Nerja retains its traditional festivals: the Fair, Holy Week (Easter), the San Isidro pilgrimage and the festivals of San Juan and D�a del Carmen are also celebrated in their own special way. There are a wide range of cultural events throughout the year. Of particular note is the acclaimed �Nerja Caves Festival�,
How to get there
Car hire can be arranged. Taxi available from Malaga Airport to Nerja for approx 60 Euro. Directions to 5 Pueblo Jasmin Villa from Malaga Airport: Leaving Malaga Airport take the road/motorway to the east following signs initially to Malaga then to Almeria or Motril. It will be a considerable time before you see a sign for Nerja. The motorway number is E15 or RN340. You will be on motorway all of the journey. Do not exit the motorway for Nerja instead continue on through one more tunnel (called tunnel Capistrano) and exit at the next junction for the Caves de Nerja. From here negotiate the roundabouts and head into Nerja from this direction. A relatively short distance and before you get into Nerja itself you will see a sign indicating a slip road on your right to Capistrano Village. Take this slip road. You are now entering Capistrano. Drive up Calle (Street) Camino de Ronda (do not take Via Romano). Proceed up this street and you will come to a small Commercial Centre on the right hand side with Shop, Bar etc. If you are collecting Keys from Lesagro for the property this is where the offices are and you need to call to them. Proceed up this street till you come to a T-junction and turn left. Stay on this road until you come to a turn (approx. 3rd turn on right) into a development on the right (street name Via Real) turn in here. You should see a small bar/restaurant on the left about 50 meters after you take the turn.. Proceed to the next T-junction and turn right. You are now on the street on which 5 Pueblo Jasmin is located. The swimming pool entrance and a bar etc. is on the right, directly opposite is 5 Pueblo Jasmin.

Further details outdoors: There is a garden on a lower level below the balcony which provides additional space for kids to play and for sun bathing or BBQ. The property is located within the community of San Juan de Capistrano which is managed superbly by the local community office. It is a very safe environment and perfect for couples and families. The setting is among beautiful gardens set into the mountains with stunning views of the sea and surrounding area.

Keys for the property can be provided by the owner or local property management company called Lesagro. Swimming pool available Easter to November - in July and August open till 12.00 midnight. No specific arrival day or departure day - subject to confirmation. Arrival time 2.00pm departure time 10.00 am - however this might be flexible depending on prior arrangements. Payment due 4 weeks before arrival date to secure booking. On arrival a €30.00 refundable deposit is required for the pool pass, which can be picked up from Lesagro. Smoking only outside.
Property Management Company for 5 Pueblo Jazmin Villa Lesagro are our Property Management Company located in the village of El Capistrano which is about 10 minutes walk from 5 Pueblo Jazmin. They are responsible for preparing the villa for your stay and will be your point of contact during your stay. The contact there is Mario Hoffman or Guy Pieters (owner). The keys for the Villa can be picked up at Lesagro reception. They are open 7 days a week. If you are arriving in Nerja outside of normal hours (Note: Siesta time 2.00pm to 5.00pm) please let us know as we can make alternate arrangements for collecting the keys.
Community Centre (Communidad de Properties) The Community centre are responsible for maintenance and management of the San Juan de Capistrano community. They are located across the road from the Villa in the San Juan de Capistrano village and the contact there is Jane. Telephone No: +34 95 2524787.
Transport In the event that you have not hired a car both taxis and public transport are available locally. The bus terminus is opposite the pool and buses run on the quarter hour, you can check these times at the bar as they have been known to change from time to time.
Swimming Pool The communal pool is located across the road from the villa. You will require a pool pass, which can be collected from Lesagro in El Capistrano Village (10 minutes walk from villa). A €30.00 refundable deposit will be required. The pool pass will cover all people staying in the Villa. Contact Jane at the community centre if you have any problems. The pool itself is open till late in the evening and is surrounded with a selection of bars/restaurants, shops and a small supermarket.
