Ideal for families, this end terrace garden apartment on the Oasis de Capistrano has recently been refurbished. Tastefully furnished to a very high standard, the spacious lounge/diner offers comfortable seating for both dining & relaxing. The new kitchen is very well-equipped and is complete with washing machine and dishwasher.The light & airy double bedroom with kingsize bed has an en-suite shower & toilet and benefits from double doors with fantastic views and access to the terrace. The charming twin-bedded room is well presented and both rooms have fitted wardrobes & ceiling fans. The large sun terrace with barbecue & loungers is part-covered and has stunning views across the verdant tropical gardens of Oasis to the mountains and sea beyond. Palm trees and exotic flowers flourish in our well-tended private walled garden which has a jasmine-covered lockable front gate. Easily accessed from off-road parking and close to the swimming pools, paddling pool and restaurant.

The peaceful and private Oasis de Capistrano estate is one of the most sought after locations for holidays in Nerja. Set amidst award-winning and beautifully landscaped gardens, the complex boasts two swimming pools and a children’s pool, with life guards during peak season and toilet/changing facility. There is a smart poolside restaurant and a snack bar serving a variety of good food, drinks and ices. Ample safe play areas & opportunity to shelter from the sun ensure everyone can relax and enjoy themselves, parents and children alike. The estate is patrolled 24 hours a day and a well-stocked supermarket, car hire and tennis club are all close to hand. Oasis de Capistrano is easily reached, being a short distance from the link to the new Motorway that allows you to reach Malaga in 30 minutes.

The Costa del Sol region

The local Nerja bus stops at the entrance to Oasis and trips can be taken west to Torre del Mar and Malaga where the tourist bus offers the best views of the city. To the east is the bustling market town of Almunecar and venture inland to the mountain village of Frigiliana, voted Spain's prettiest village. Competa is another pretty Andalucian mountain village with white-washed houses, good craft shops and locally produced wine. An hour's drive on good roads will take you to Granada and the unmissable Alhambra Palace. A wonderful experience, but make sure you book your tickets in advance as they only allow a certain number through on any one day. Go to the tourist office in Nerja for more information.Twenty minutes drive from Granada and you can be at the top of the Sierra Nevada, which accommodate Europe's most southerly ski resort, Solynieve, home to the 1992 Winter Olympics. Even in summer it is a lovely ride with stunning views from the highest road in Europe. For the more ambitious, day trips to Gibraltar and Morocco are possible.

The Nerja / Oasis de Capistrano area

At the foot of the Sierra Almijara mountains, the Andalucian town of Nerja has retained much of its old world charm and is surrounded by avocado, pomegranate and orange groves. The narrow cobbled streets have plenty of shops, restaurants and tapas bars to suit all tastes and it bustles with activity. The famous Caves boast the largest stalagmite in Europe and are home to concerts in its great caverns during the summer months.There are breath-taking panoramic views of the coast from the palm-lined Balcon de Europa, an elegant and historic promenade providing both a focal point and popular meeting place.

A footpath leads from Oasis to the famous blue flag award-winning Burriana Beach. This is an excellent beach, alive with bars, cafes and restaurants including Ayo’s where you can watch the giant paella being cooked over the beach fire. Simply relax and enjoy Nerja’s fantastic climate or take part in the host of activities and water sports facilities available: sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, paragliding and fishing. In addition, there are many smaller beaches and inlets to discover locally which with their tropical vegetation are quiet and serene. For the children and those young at heart, there are Water Parks at Torre del Mar and Almunecar

Alternatively, catch the bus from airport to Malaga (these run every 15 minutes during the day) then take the bus to Nerja which leaves every hour.
