Our privately owned two bedroom holiday home is a bungalow style apartment on the Oasis de Capistrano development, acknowledged as probably the best holiday complex in Nerja It has been completely modernised to a very high specification and elegantly furnished to provide an ideal holiday home for discerning clients looking for all possible comforts.Superb sea views from the large balcony and beautiful mountain views from the front porch, make this one of the best locations in the area.

In addition to providing summer cooling, the units switch to warm air heating during chilly autumn and winter evenings. An electric fan type log effect stove gives extra heat and a focal point. Bedrooms are heated and we provide electric blankets and hot water bottles - we know it can be chilly in winter!!!

A new kitchen with every conceivable appliance including fan oven, microwaves, dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, extractor, full size fridge freezer, wine cooler, ceramic hob, coffee maker, etc.
Of course,many of these items require consumables so we provide, included in the rental cost, sufficient for your stay, washing powder,dishwasher tabs, detergent, foil, cloths etc. You need not, therefore have to purchase these items whilst on holiday!
Lounge with new leather sofas, glass dining table extendable (using the matching height adjustable coffee table.), Sky TV and DVD player. Open log effect fire in winter.
One double bedroom with double doors to balcony, Sky TV, DVD/CD player, hair-dryer etc and one twin bedroom with separate Sky TV. All with winter duvets and summer bedspreads. Airconditioning units in both bedrooms for summer cooling and winter heating. Electric blanket and hot water bottles provided for winter comfort.
Bathroom with over bath shower. Constant hot water from newly installed ultra modern combi gas boiler.
Our Oasis apartment has facilities for all year round accommodation. Air conditioning in all rooms provide relief from midsummer heat whilst when the evenings are chilly in the autumn and winter, the units can be switched to "heat" , providing warm air circulation. In addition, a log fire can be lit to provide a cosy winter atmosphere.
A choice of bedding is available which you can choose as appropriate to the weather conditions and include cosy duvets for winter use as well as light bedspreads for summer use. A tumble dryer provides clothes drying facilities when the weather is unsuitable for using the hanging dryer on the balcony.
All of the described amenities are included in the rental price which we feel gives extra value for money for the facilities available, particularly providing comfortable extras for winter breaks rarely found in this type of rental property.

Oasis de Capistrano is situated at the eastern side of Nerja on the beach side of the coastal road. Access to Burianna beach, the largest beach in Nerja ( with water sports) is either via a coastal track, walking, which takes about 15 minutes or by road which is a 5 minute drive.
There is a large semi circular balcony facing the sun from dawn to sunset WITH UNINTERUPTED VIEWS OVER THE VALLEY TO THE SEA. THE BALCONY IS UNOVERLOOKED.Gazeebo shade over glass patio dining suite adjacent to Lounge. Cushioned sun loungers on other section of balcony.
The town centre is a 20 minute walk, a supermarket is a 5 minute walk. There are two restaurant/bars on the complex, two adult swimming pools, a children's pool and Petang courts. Horse riding is available locally.
Nerja Caves, the famous natural cave complex is a five minute drive or a 20minute walk through the white village of Maro. A Water Park is a 15 minute drive away.
Nerja is renound for its chic restaurants, tapas bars and quaint shops in cobbled streets and alleyways. Surrounded by small trendy town centre coved beaches, the Balcon de Europa is the town centre “square” where you can overlook the blue Mediterranean sea, sit at a traditional Spanish coffee/tapas bar and watch street artists entertain.
This square is home to the main Nerja church where the regular Christian festivals and processions traditionally commence and end. In the evenings, the area is a floodlit mecca of activities with artists, street vendors, horse drawn landaus and happy people – tourists and locals alike!
Whilst we do not wish to specify our apartment as "non smoking", we would appreciate if clients would restrict smoking to the balcony areas. No smoking in the bedrooms.
Please note that the swimming pools may not be available during the colder months, however, a newly built municipal indoor heated swimming pool is available all year round, adjacent to the local supermarket only 5 minutes walk away.
A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation dates. This deposit is then retained as a key and breakage deposit until keys are returned.
Full payment of the rental charge is then due six weeks before departure . WE CAN ACCEPT PAYPAL THROUGH PAYPAL INVOICING GIVING YOU A SECURE PAYMENT METHOD. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO USE THIS METHOD BUT IT GIVES YOU ALL THE CREDIT CARD GUARANTEES.
Full payment plus £100 deposit is payable on booking for reservations less than 6 weeks away.
You are advised to take out Holiday Insurance in case of cancellation. However, in view of the fact that Holiday Insurance Policies rarely include cover for Volcanic Ash cancellations, we make the following guarantee in good faith for bookings made after 15th May 2010. Should your flight be cancelled directly and exclusively because of Volcanic Ash, we will endeavour to offer our accommodation for alternative dates. If alternative dates cannot be agreed, we will refund 75% of the rental amount paid, plus deposit.
Longer rental periods than 2 weeks ( eg longer winter lets ) available at discounted rates by arrangements with the owners.
The Costa del Sol region
Nerja is situated at the Eastern end of the Costa del Sol, but only 40 minutes drive from Malaga, bordering on the Costa Tropical coastline with more traditionally Spanish coastal towns such as Torrox, Herradura, Almuneca and Solobrena.
Beautiful Spanish “white villages” such as Frigliana, Maro, Competa and Camares are only a short drive away. For golfers, the Baviera golf course is a ten minute drive away ( see their website at bavieragolf.com where you can book on line).
The magnificent city of Granada ( granadatourist.com) is a one hour drive from Nerja along a spectacularly scenic but modern route via Motril. At Granada, visit the Palace of Alhambra or for the more energetic, Ski at the Sierra Nevada Ski resort less than half an hour’s drive from Granada centre ( see sierradenevadaski.com).
The Ski resort is open from about December to March and it is possible on some days to Ski in the morning and be back on the beach by afternoon!
The Nerja / Oasis de Capistrano area
Nerja is a coastal town some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, at theEastern end of the Costa del Sol at the start of the Costa Tropical, so named because of its extraordinarily sub climate . Once a small fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000 boosted by typically discerning summer and all year round tourists
Nerja has a number of beaches of varying types and sizes to match eveyone’s taste. From small sandy coves to large sunbedded areas, with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. Many major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.
Surrounded by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town does not suffer from the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. Downtown Nerja town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums and other spectacular blossoms, including jasmine with its wonderful aroma.
However, in the centre of Nerja can be found the spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against a backdrop of hazy blue mountains.
There are many restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn landau to explore the most romantic areas of the town.
In the square is the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach.
Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, only a kilometre or so from our apartment. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other archeological remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged.
Our apartment is only approx 500 metres from the fabulous NERJA TENNIS CLUB with many facilities including floodlit tennis and paddle courts, bar and restaurant.
How to get there

Nerja is a 40 minute drive from Malaga Airport and a 75 minute drive from Granada Airport. Most budget airlines fly to Malaga and some, including Ryanair fly to Granada. From both airports you can either hire a car from many major car rental companies at the airport or book in advance from companies such as www.malagacar.com, www.elitecarhire.com. who will meet you at the airport.
From Granada city bus station, regular buses run to Nerja and a regular shuttle bus will take you to Granada bus station from outside the airport arrivals hall.
Taxis from Granada Airport to Nerja will cost you about 80 - 90 Euro. Car hire will normally cost you less than a return taxi fare!

So true, the best title I could give to this house. Everything was in place. All the wee silly things that make you irritated when on holiday, when you don't want to buy a whole box of dishwasher tabs, or washing powder and fabric softener etc etc. all of these things were there in a pristine spotless apartment. The balcony as has been noted by others is superb and air con delightful. A bit more wardrobe space for luggage would have made it absolutely perfect but we managed and we always bring too much anyway. Oasis Capistrano is a lovely place to stay. We also had the bonus of having very helpful neighbours who saved my bacon when a gas cannister ran out and I was mid shampoo. Malcolm and his wife came to our rescue. A lot of care and good taste has gone into the furnishing in this property which although you spend most of your time out in the blistering wonderful sunshine, is an added bonus if you tire of going out and wish a night in and a home cooked spag bol and Rioja (I know it should be paella to stay in character but I don't like it so spag bol will do).
We have been going back and forth to Nerja for 25 years, we have stayed closer to the Burriana beach,but, for comfort, design and sheer peace of mind I loved my stay at 22 Tetuan.

Rates are based on 4 persons in two bedrooms, ie one double, one twin. For two adults in one bedroom only, please deduct 20 euros from the quoted price. Normally, in this case we would prepare the double room, however, please bear in mind that we have a second Sky TV system in the twin room. If you require the twin room made up instead of the double, please indicate on the booking form. If you require the twin room making up IN ADDITION to the double, the discount obviously will not apply.
Clean linen and towels are provided weekly.
A cot can be hired at a nominal fee.
Nightly rate is for a minimum of 3 nights. Please enquire for quote.
